Likes

I like they procide a good exposure like Environment is also good .
Students are also good, There is a very decent boys to girl ratio
They also provide a semester exchange program and many more such things which gives you a very good exposure to your journey

Dislikes

Parking area is my campus is not very good
There is a problem in transport you face some difficulties in finding a transport medium from university to city

Courses are same in all universities for bcom hons i guess . So ya overall course structure is fine and good for me. You will know HR , Finance , Marketing etc related course subject so ya overall course structure is good

Internships Opportunities

I had a internship in summer breaks of first year name called Social Shrijan Internship and you will have to do a internship in companies and NGO. These internships are mandatory for your degree as well.

Placement Experience

This is my placement year , Companies are coming and some students also got placed. There are good companies are coming in our campus and afterall it is depend on your CV and your skills so if you are good at it you can get a placements . But still Placements for bcom (hons) are not that much.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees is around 70000, yearly it will cost you 4.5l approx and if you have domicile certificate of uttrakhand so you can also avail 33 percent scholarship, and other scholarships are also available

Campus Life

There are so many Clubs in college and campus is beautiful and classes are tech oriented there are smart classes and overall campus is very good you will feel lively vibe there . Overall i enjoyed my campus life

Admission

This college is fullfilling my all needs it is not very far from my home so i can visit my home frequently and there is very nice and beautiful mountain view and the environment and nature is very good Because as you k ow dehradun is famous for it weather. I have applied in amity but it was far from my home and weather quality so yess it a good decesion for me.

Faculty

Faculty overall is good they listen to you and they also have good experience of teaching but there are some problem that i personally faced in intracting with them tegarding my assignments and subject. So, there is a good faculty .

Interview Experience

There is no GD happen in my time of interview and there was a personal interview happened for admission they have asked about your future plans like what you are doing in you future (Education), why did you choose this particular course , your favourite subjects , some questions about your steams like if you are from Commerce steam sothey will ask about some random questions about commerce and yeah if you did a good interview than you will be a student for upes

The review from heart

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Designing dreams in graphic Era

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for b.com honours are decent,only few students get placed, Around 40 to 50% of students in last batch got placed. The average package offered ranges between 2 to 3 lpa while some students with better skills secured a better package. Companies like TCS,Deloitte,Infosys is very active in campus placement but you should not be concerned about placements if you are doing BCom focus on your skills and you will secure a good package or focus on masters then after you can expect a good package

campus placements are limited . tudents usually become eligible from 5th to 6th semester, but very few big companies visit for core commerce roles. some students get placed in smal firms with decent starting salaries.

Because my brother told me to do this course. Faculty is there and everything is there as per their knowledge. Student Ration 54:6. Qualification is higher and she has done a Ph.D. Teaching teachers are mind-blowing. Term exams are accurate and on time. what is difficult, if you study, it will not be difficult.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good fees structure and provide scholarship for poor students and the negative remark is the building of that college is very old and messy. It should be renovated. And providing a good canteen also.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. If not then in top 20k JEE ranks your name has to be there regardless. So those are the only ways to get admission especially in CSE at the UPES University....Read More

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Assessment test is there but that's not the only way of getting here. There are other ways too and students can go that way like on 12th score or sports quota because there are over 1000 new admission done every year. UPES was the lone place I tried and I got admission too....Read More

UPES has best sports access!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
