Interview

In one semester we have two criteria of evaluation that is internals and externals. In internals, we have assignments, presentations, first sessional exam and second sessional exams of 15-30 marks and then marks are also given from 1-5 on the basis of attendance in a particular subject. Then in externals, final exams are held. the course curriculum is quite decent and student friendly.

Placements are really good, the average package is around 2.5-6 lacs annually for biotechnology graduates depending upon their skills. In the final year companies also visit for internships and students get a chance to sit for internship interviews. Stipend depends and varies from company to company.

The college has an active social group called YOUWECAN founded by cricket player Yuvraj Singh, which works on cancer awareness programs throughout the year then we have NSS and NCC. The annual cultural fest is an average fest not that good with comparison to other colleges.

It's feasible when compared to other private colleges like amity.fees for my course that B.tech is around 8 lacs for a total of four years which includes both academics and hostel fees. One semester fee for the hostel is 38k and academics are around 63k.

I myself have availed a need blind scholarship on my academic fees.scholarship is provided only for academics, not a hostel . The college has scholarships for reserved categories as well as EWS categories. Scholarships to meritious students are also given for the first year for those who have secured more than 95% in their 12th standard. The loan you will have to take from the bank if you wish to. I'm also studying on education loan.

Extracurricular activities are not that much of a level honestly but it's upon students and their interest if you are from a metro city or studied in a good school focusing on extracurricular activities and exposer you may find your school better otherwise if you are new to these kinds of activities its more than enough. The college has a basketball court, a cricket stadium and an indoor sports complex with a gym also open for all on membership that is very affordable. The college has labs for all the departments.

The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The hostel provides 2 seaters,3 seater, and 4 seater rooms. It has three blocks A, B, and C. Each block has its respective mess. The hostel has a student activity center which holds dance classes for free for the students and a cineplex in which every weekend students can watch movies. hostel food is ok as nothing can be compared to home food.

The campus is a ragging free campus, seniors are friendly and very helpful. The college runs annual alumni meet in Chandigarh or Delhi NCR, till now. Seniors play the role of buddies in the induction program and guide juniors through the campus.

Can't say a single opinion for the whole faculty few are very lazy but most of them are very helpful and experts in their field of expertise. The teaching method is through powerpoint presentations, all the lectures are uploaded on the.univ that is the university's online portal where announcements, lectures, assignments of every subject is uploaded by the respective faculty.
