Likes
- I like the infrastructure of the college and the the amazing opportunities they keep for the students to develop and participate like moot court competition, presentation, seminars, debates and also things like dancing, singing and other fun stuffs.
- I like the availability of the resources and materials you need for your assignment submission, project, presentation research & other things. They have very good collection of books in the library and have two huge libraries in the whole University.
- Inside the college you will enjoy different cafeteria and pocket cafe that sells good and delicious food and a very affordable prices and there are many varieties too. You will also find a lot of sport and entertainment spaces to keep you all pumped.
Dislikes
- For example our faculty of law is new and recently started, though it is great and thriving in other things, I wouldn't recommend anyone to apply here only because of the placement. The highest placement after the ba.llb here is 5 lakhs per annum.
- Another thing is the crowd here , is not that intresting and are very judgemental that it makes college life not fun for many students. Though the crowd is improving these days . This is one of the main reason y many students don't like the college.
- The university is not lenient and is pretty strict in administration and can make u feel like u are still at school. Also the area around here is not good and is mostly village and u will hardly find good cafes nearby. You will have to travel a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
We are mandated to do things like debates, presentation, research work , moot courts, internships every year which were all gonna help us in our professional life a lott. I would suggest they include more practicals and make them more realistic.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a foreign student my annual fee is 1,15,000 for my course of BA LLB Hons. The fee doesn't change for the five whole years of my tution fee. At first you have to pay 15,000 for the registration fee. The fee of my batchmates are 3 lakh or less with merit scholarships and others. I got 50% flat scholarship.
Campus Life
My college life has been great so far other than some small issues. The college has a problem of taking the fee way too early and the hostel here is unnecessarily budget unfriendly.there are.a big annual fest organized by the student organisation around the late summer.
Admission
I applied for the university through the recommendation of a counselor online after I told him about all my requirements abt the location, fees, reputation and others . The admission process was really easy and subtle.
Faculty
Tarundeep ma'am, I didn't like this faculty because she is the most insincere faculty and anyone who is taught by her can tell that because she genuinely doesn't care whether the children passes or fails or learns something or not. No professionalism at all .
