Overall the college is good amongst the other colleges in the neighboring region. The college is in full swing of development as it has recently got the NBA and NAAC accreditation as well. The placement data is also coming out to be good.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum is designed strictly according to the requirements of the industry & to help students to get the most out of it. The syllabus is well structured and balanced equally in all the 8 semesters. In each of the academic years, 2 semesters are conducted, and in every semester 2 In-Semester exams and 1 practical exam along with the Final End Semester are to be given.

The placement records 2 years before were not up to the mark. But since 2016-17 more and number of students are getting placed through various campus drives. Many good companies have recently visited and conducted campus drives in the college like TCS, Wipro, Siemens, etc. Internships are provided in local companies like BSNL Jalgaon, Jain Irrigation Jalgaon, etc. The average stipend is 2000/per month.

The annual cultural program of college called Jallosh is celebrated every year in the month of March. The event is jointly organized with annual technical fest Technoarena, both of which run for 2 days. Apart from this, the National Level cultural fest called Abhivyakti and Technical Fest Technovision is held in the month of October. Annual sports are held throughout the month of February. Apart from this departmental events are organized by all six departments from time to time. On 19 th February Shiv Jayanti is celebrated with full enthusiasm.

The fee structure is moderate. As ours is an autonomous institute with good infrastructure and other facilities, development fees are taken from students which is more than the tuition fees. The total fees for the first year for general category candidates were 83000 in the academic year 2018-2019. Category wise scholarships are also applied according to the rules of Government of Maharashtra.

Various scholarships are available for students according to their categories. All the scholarship schemes are provided by the Government of Maharashtra. For OBC students belonging to noncreamy layer status, 50% concession in the fees is applicable. For SC, ST it is 100%. Other scholarships are also available for General Category candidates.

Extracurricular activities are carried out throughout the year by organizing various sports, events, quizzes, etc by every department. Newcomers get their Freshers party from seniors, and the last year students get farewell as well. Laboratories and other infrastructure are quite good. The complete college campus is covered by high speed internet through wifi which is accessible to every student. CCTV cameras are set up keeping security in mind. The college library boasts thousands of useful books. Reading room, gym, in campus guest house and hostel is also available.

The alumni meet is organized every year which sees active participation from the alumni. They are very supportive and help students to get placed in good companies or acquire internships. I am personally in touch with many of my seniors who keep motivating me always.

All the Heads of the Departments, except computers, are Ph.D. holders. The other teaching staff is also highly qualified & supportive. Most of the faculty members are permanent staff members with a wide teaching experience of 10-15 years.
