The biometric entry system ensures security and maintenance discipline
The university have a very big ground and have a huge sports event every year
The canteen mega bites is very nice and affordable

Dislikes

Many teachers are rude here and don't even attendance even when its an emergency
The biometric is good but its A huge mess. You have to punch in at exact time otherwise you loose attendance
They will give you many assignments and you have to submit them all on time orelse you loose marks

Course Curriculum Overview

I think my course is fine. It is divided in 3 parts. Discipline one Discipline two Discipline three In D1 you have the psychology related subject like in sem 1 you will get intro to psychology , in sem 2 stats in sem 3 social psychology. D2 is either you pick sociology, anthropology or economics and it will not change. D3 changes every year like in first year you get yoga, computer etc. Rest are compulsory subjects like communication, life skills, behavioural science etc.

Campus Life

The campus is huge. It has many places to eat. The only good places although are mega bites, wall street, dominos, pitapit ans raras. We also have a huge ground, arcade, gym, and swimming pool. The library is very nice and fully air conditioned.

Admission

It is a private college and one of the best private college in india. The psychology course here is very nice and every year 1000+ people take admission in the psychology department. 2nd reason is that they dont have reservations

Faculty

Some faculties here are very nice and helpful. They will give you attendance when you need it. They will help you out. Many teachers are way too strict and dont give attendance even at times of emergency. In exam we have practical and the final exams. All offline exam are of 60 marks + 35 marks internal + 5 marks attendance. Online exams are of 70 marks and they are mcq based. Taking extra language is compulsory here and you ony have 7 classes so you can't miss more than one because 2 attendance gone means you are debarred. Your safety is in your own hands

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

I actually chosed tgis college as the exposure was pretty good. But the major part of me for choosing this college is because I was denied by my parents to learn animation as that was my first preference. My, one distant relative, also did animation and since he had no job my parents were scared that it would turn out to be my story. AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
