Likes
- The classroom complex is pretty good and cool throught the day which makes it easier to study during summer.
- Library is very helpful. It has all the books you'll ever need and has fictional books as well.
- The swimming pool is very big. Altough its outdoor but the pool is big enough to lear swimming.
Dislikes
- Girl to boy ratio is just 20:80. Out of 118 students its only 24 girls.
- The mess food is pretty much just edible. That too sometimes because we have found bugs in our food like 5 times now.
- Just those few teachers which are very strict.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are pretty tough considering the average student that studies here. But for me it was mid not too difficult but not as well easy. The half sem exams dont have breaks in between but the final does. The mid sems are of 30 marks and the final is of 50 i think.
Placement Experience
There are placements from 3rd and 4th year but they have some conditions. One of them depends on your CGPA which should be around 8.0 and the attendance should be 95% plus. The attendance is given base on the merit you get. Each class is 1 and each practical is 0.5. Placement are pretty good not grate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically the semester wise fees i am paying is 3.36 lakhs because I am a dasa student. So yearly its around 6.67 lakhs. There are fees for hostel and mess which is 63k rupees. Another 100 rupees for swimming pool access. I really dont know if the fees will increase or not.
Campus Life
The social life is amazing here. Full of diversity and students from abroad like me and form other parts of india are also seen. The clubs selection is good not great, the clubs are pretty hard to get into. One of the clubs is octaves. A musical club. For sports we have everything except for physical sports like kabbadi,etc. We also have a gym.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is not that great. Especially HB 08 its pretty worn down and is need for a renovation. Our hostel is good but not great HB 06. It gets pretty hot in our room. But only the night canteen is amazing. Its open until 2:30 am and has much food at mrp price.
Admission
I choose this college over the other is because it was in my home state and very helpful like emergency wise. Also I wanted mechanical I wasnt forced to choose it due to marks but only for those reasons i am here.
Faculty
I not really sure about the teacher to student ratio. But most of the teachers we have are very chill they help out with doubts and dont shout as much. The others are just too strict and honestly I dont like that. Exams also are going to start but the half sem exams were given 1.5 months prep time and final is only given 1 month.
