Course Curriculum Overview
My branch industrial and production engineering has good curriculum with practical and workshop Here also teach programing, robotics, 3d printing And there are many clubs related to your interest. Overall college is good at future aspect.
Internships Opportunities
In my branch specifically industrial production engineering placement rate increase in last 2 years and now at 95 percent and one can get internship after second year and in summer vacation. Here company like Amazon Flipkart and psu like HP comes for placement
Placement Experience
Fourth year student are eligible for placement but second year student can get summer internship and in fourth year student are going for 6 month internship ship with half class capacity in each 7th and 8th semester
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for fee waivers=0 And other fee like hostel, electricity, internet,and other fee per year 55,000 For income between 1 to 5 lakhs fees is 1/3rd of total fee And mess fee is 56,000 per year . State scholarship is available here
Campus Life
In nit Jalandhar you have to join one club for first semester it's credit is also count in your result (Not in CGPA). There are many clubs related to your interest you can join any of them and they are very productive it helps to grow in every direction .you can learn gaming, photography, and here is music club and yoga dance club ,NSS, NSO, NCC clubs
Hostel Facilities
There are 3 hostel for first year. In which bh1 and bh2 both are best but bh5 is only good not bad In bh1 and bh2 within hostel you get computer room library but in bh5 none of these is available and mess is dependent on student according to voting food is decided for a month . Staff of hostel are good and very friendly washroom are getting clean regularly. In bh1 and bh2 there is 4 seater and in bh5 is 2 seater but food of bh1 and bh2 is good and girl hostel are five seaters there is one mega girls hostel and two mega boys hostel for 2 nd years onwards
Admission
First of all it is institute of national importance it also have every type of facilities. My some senior recommend me to take admission in this college placement is better than other. College which I get according to my jee mains rank
Faculty
There is a mid semester exam and and 4 quizzes best of 2 are count for cgpa and end semester exam with practical exam held . Some of the factually only come for course completion Not teach properly
