Positive-Its one of the best and we'll know engineering college in the country.students from various countries study here.apart from engineering, there's also dental, diploma, architecture, MBA, Bacon and there's aeronautical and automobile engineering too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is revised and more industry oriented now. its better than the old VTU curriculum. There will be internals and externals. An average in internals will be taken and added in the total mark scheme.
Placement Experience
The placement is perfect. You have to put right but if effort from your side, once you are eligible to attend placements, the placement cell in the college takes care that you get a good job to begin your career with.
College Events
A yearly fest-FURORE(In APRIL), a half yearly fest-VIBRATIONS(SEPTEMBER).and lots of inter-departmental tests, the college auditorium is always occupied, one or the other event keeps on happening! funny thing is you'll never know about all of them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, I would say so if you are coming through entrance exams, it's affordable if it's a management seat it mainly depends on the Stream you are going to opt and yes better the stream more expensive the price! (but totally worth it)
Fees and Financial Aid
You can avail scholarship from various organizations, all this is mentioned on the notice board in the Fees section block of the heritage building. I never availed any but many where offered scholarships based in there rank in the entrance exam.
Campus Life
Gym, squash court, tennis court, basketball court, football/cricket field, indoor games corner, spacious labs, no need to worry about extracurricular activities, our college is known for it for decades!
Hostel Facilities
No, I'm a localite. all I know is there's a very expensive hostel called NRI and few normal ones, ladies hostel is situated inside the campus and one outside. Men's hostel is inside the campus. the food facility and rooms are good from what I've heard.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the College is well connected they organize a yearly Alumni Meet, where students from 10+years old batches show up, there's also department alumni meets happening they contact old students for giving advice to newer ones by conducting Various meets.
Faculty
Good but can be better.it's always more fun to learn if the class is engaged from both the faculty and students although this is very rare in graduation colleges. Here there are few faculties who are very good.
