The administration and management of the college are very good. You can get all your official work done immediately. Everyone thinks that our college fee is very high but the fee structure of IITs and NITs is also very high.

Up to the 4th semester, we are supposed to study according to the curriculum but from the 5th semester onwards we can choose any interesting subjects as we want from computer science, electronics, and electrical engineering. The institute focuses on research. The research is involved more in Ph.D. and M.Tech. In Btech there are in total of 5 branches: CSE, ETC, EEE, IT, CE. The structure of the exam in a semester is like this: we have 2 online quizzes of total 15 marks, one mid sem of 30 marks and an end sem of 50 marks. 5 marks are with the teacher for teachers assessment which altogether makes 100.

Our college placement is much better as compared to other colleges. Job opportunities are very good here. Our college use to call mostly software companies. So the CSE, CE and IT branch students have many more opportunities than the core branch students. There are a lot of companies that participate in the campus recruitment: Dell, Sap, Aptus data labs, Infosys, Amdocs, Tech Mahindra, MindTree, IBM, Directi, nucleus, etc.

Although our college is a unitary University, it is an undertaking of the Government of Odisha. It is a public partnership schemed college. That is why our fees were a bit high. The tuition fee is around 70k to 80k per semester and overall fees including Tuition fees, Hostel fees, mess fees, transportation charges, library fees, etc in around 2 lacs per annum. Fees gradually increase every year 1st year: 1.85 lac 2nd year: 1.80 lac 3rd year: 2 lac 4th year: 2 lac

The college offers the scholarship to the top 3 students from every branch in every year. It also has the tuition fee waiver scheme (TFW) for financial assistance to the students who cannot afford the college fees. Andhra Bank is the banking partner of this college. One can avail loan from this bank.

The chemistry lab, physics lab, and mechanical workshop are good and are available for 1st year students, and all types of machines are available in the labs. There are other labs: basic electronics lab, engineering drawing lab, basic electrical lab, high end computer labs, analog and digital electronics lab, microprocessor, and microcontroller lab and many other labs are available. We have football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and lawn tennis playground. Our campus is in a total of 23 acres. Indoor game facilities like table tennis court, chess and carrom board are also available.

The hostel fess is included in the overall fees but it depends upon what type of room you opt for. There are single, double, triple and 4 bedded rooms. The charge is accordingly. For single room: 20000 per semester For double room: 15000 per semester For 3 and 4 bedded room: 10000 per semester Mess food is not so good, but also not so bad. It is eatable. And is charged 60? per day. You can select which day you want to eat.

Yes seniors are awesome and they help us to know what are the real world problems and help during studies in examinations and they help during placements even some have started a startup and they have recruited some. Some times they help in referrals and all I would say due to friends and seniors life at IIIT BH is a bit better.

Well, we had quite a friendly faculties. Not all of them but most of them were good at teaching. And of course, some subjects were so boring that we can't even withstand the class for an hour. Almost all the faculties are IITians except some. Either some have graduated from IIT or have done their masters or research. Every faculty member is very well informed about all the latest developments in the industry and are experts in their respective fields. You can always take help from them.
