Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed according to the latest technology. We have new subjects like business technology and business communication. We even have paperless tests and exams. Mahe has the policy of producing zero percent of paper waste in terms of tests and exams.
Internships Opportunities
Since day one, mahe blr'u is preparing us to make presentation and be confident on stage to present out our ideas confidently. Which helps primarily in getting good internships and the avg stipend one can expect not that fixed because it is certainly depending on your skills and intellect.
Placement Experience
Bcom program has been newly introduced in mahe so there are not so much placements yet but yes manipal gains a lot of attention of recruiters due to quality of education that they provide. Manipal also provides ACCA degree along with the bcom degree which will be beneficial in the future. My plans after my bcom degree is to give cat and apply for iim again since it's my dream.
Fees and Financial Aid
For bcom at mahe blr'u you need to pay 1,50,000 per year as fees. The caution deposit was 10,000. And the few structure is same for everyone. Mahe doesn't provide any scholarships as such but they conduct many events in which you can win cash prizes.
Campus Life
There are many societies and social groups like finance, marketing, social services, cultural and many more. The seniors of my course are highly approachable and sweet to talk to. They will help you in every way. Other than my course people, the students from the other courses like law and mit are also great.
Admission
I prepared six months for ipmat exam in order to get into any of the top iims for bba and mba intergrated program. But my luck wasn't that good and due to 3-4 marks i missed the cutoffs. My second preference was mahe since it's ranked at 4th in the nirf ranking 2024.
Faculty
Almost all the teachers and faculty are well qualified with more than 10 years of experience. Mahe doesn't hire professors without a PhD degree and less than five years of experience in teaching industry.
