A journey worth sharing

Overall SLIET institute is best. SLIET not only focuses on Academics but also focus on Passion. As I told, There are many Club and societies like SLIET robotics and Automation Society, Happy Club, Endeavor, Maverics and many more.

Course Curriculum is good enough but as we know the Indian Education system, There is no any latest subject option. But College clubs and society focus on the latest technology and engage students with their activities. There is a 3-phase examination per semester. 1&2- phase of Minor examination and 3rd phase of the major examination.

From the last year status, Placement and job opportunity are increased. Like, This year 58 students got placed in Infosys. Most of the students placed in good companies with a great package. For eg. Average package of 4-5 Lakhs.

1. The Biggest and old event of our college is "techFEST" which focuses on the technical area. 2. Another one is "Madhuram- Cultural Fest". 3. Another one is Social Fest which works on social development.

The fee structure is very feasible. I think our sliet university has taken fewer fees in comparison to another university. The total average fee per semester including the hostel is 28k.

Many high ranked student with less family income got 100% fee waiver. As central Government University, SLIET has many good options for the scholarship.

There are so many clubs and societies that focus on the overall development of students. Sports facilities are very good. Labs have mostly all needed components. SLIET got many awards in sports and other activities.

The hostel infrastructure is quite good. There is a total of 10- boys hostels and 4-girls hostel. Some of the hostels are old and some are new. Every hostel has a capacity of 200-250 students. Mess food is quite good but not soo good.

SLIET has a good alumni network. In SLIET, Most Active Alumni Cell formed 4-5 years back. Many Alumni, Helps students for providing jobs and internships. Every year alumni meet is conducted. In which, Every Alumni interacted with the student and guide them form the future.

I got admission by giving an entrance Exam. Before this, I had given a LEET entrance test after my diploma. Firstly, I filled out online admission form at www.sliet.ac.in then I got Examination Call .after clearing the entrance exam with A.I.R 14, I got admitted in SLIET.

Most of the teachers are good and have great knowledge. Most of them are the Ph.D. holder and great research Scholar. But as we know, every coin has two faces. So some are not so good. Many teachers focus on practical as well as theory.
