Remarks
Locate in the outskirts of Rabindra Sarovar and 5 mins walking distance lie this college of mine. Bunking and squandering is the most amazing thing students love to because of its location. Classrooms are very gigantic with a tinch of British cultured structured. It also has big library rooms thought books were not of any use as they were of very old edition but the quit atmosphere is all about to attract the studious students anf book lovers.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is affiliated to Calcutta University and follows its course curriculum which has now been converted to 6 semesters. Each semester exam needs to be passed which is conducted by CU. Moreover, there is also an internal exam conducted by the college but they are not so important as the semester exam.
Placement Experience
No. There are no placement opportunities provided exclusively by the college. But after completing graduation from the University of Calcutta get a job is not cumbersome but in order to get a job with a handsome and attractive salary u need to pursue higher qualification.
College Events
Our college participates and hosts many events during a year which include lectures and seminars from Government officials. 1. Annual Fest 2.Fresher Welcome. 3. Debate competitions. 4. Seminars from Industry leaders.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's very very affordable. It only cost 85 per month. And during the year including admission, it cost approx 5000 a year. Moreover, there are various scholarship programs from various government schemes and other nongovernmental organizations. All the government schemes are run in the college and benefit of all government scheme are available.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed any governmental or nongovernmental schemes or scholarship. But some of my classmates have availed handicapped scholarship and the benefit of the scholarship is that you only need to pay 50 percent of the requisite college fees. Another is for SC/ST they get the monthly amount from the government.
Campus Life
I haven't been involved in any of the sports activities but our college has a dedicated football team who gets all support from local clubs and political parties. Though there is groupism in selecting the team players if they got selected they have the opportunity to play with the biggest of colleges and also can get an opportunity to play in national clubs.
Alumni/Alumna
Basically my college senior is my school friends who were seniors in school also and we gradually became friends. So they were much friendlier towards me. Moreover, many students come from the remotest village so in order to make them comfortable many seniors and classmates come forward. In a mixed atmosphere, it was a good experience.
Faculty
Faculties are qualified but nowadays they are recruiting part time teacher who is not so qualified but is very young so there are in a better position when it comes to understanding your mind and attitude. They are amateur in the field but could guide you better than the old age teachers.
