It was a very confusing stage seeking colleges nearby and was very much troubled went on peeking reviews from different sites . When i got know about Thoothukudi medical college the academic excellence and the cultural activities made me interested in being a part of that college. Each and every dept. Is perfect and is motivating ones I feel proud to be a part of it. The admission was held on 1st round-1st week of July 2nd round-last week of July tmctkd.ac.in is the website i preferred. The college with a perfect motto " born to serve " made an huge inspiration . The college provides equal importance for both cultural as well as practical part. Saying about the hospital a huge one with many patients helps in gaining much experience . Happy to be a part of it and really looking forward in my academic performances . There are so many good things and THOOTHUKUDI medical College. The college is situated near the city. It's not a metropolitan city but a great one. I joined here on July 8 of 2019. The college looks a bit old but it is not too old since the array is established in 2001. Here students can concentrate on their studies because like other medical colleges in India here ads and other festivals are limited. There are arts festivals and sports also but they are in a controlled manner. There is no politics in college. Every year there are 150 students are joining the college for MBBS and 15% off is 150 will be all India quota students. They are students not only from Tamil Nadu also from Kerala and North Indian states. There is an airport in this city which is not international. Students from Tamilnadu can get admission here through Tamilnadu medical administration. And people from other states can also apply to hear my all India quota seats. Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery....Read More

Th college, academic wise is very excellent but i cannot agree with the other infrastructures.The college is situated 3 km from the hospital which is in a way good and another way bad. The place is not attractive, actually thoothukudi is an industrial area with very few picnic spots with no greenery except for the beaches. The food available are not very good.The climate will be harsh but we have to tolerate this all to be successful medicos....Read More

College has many tress. It has a green ful atmosphere. There is no noise from traffic. College has seperate well connected library and canteen for students and staffs. Book store is avaliable for students to buy books and other stationary materials. Negative --There is improper road in the college which has many pits....Read More
