Course Curriculum Overview
Life sciences curriculum is focused on chemistry, botany and zoology. It prepares us for theoretical knowledge and research experience which would be very helpful for future academic pursuits, the timing of exams is 5 months gap for end semester exams and one thing I will suggest for improvement is that we should explore more advanced topics.
Internships Opportunities
In my field, we get internships in various fields like ai+ machine learning, biotechnology, bioinformatics microbiology, biochemistry, Cancer biology, stem cell research with a good stipend of atleast 10000-15000.
Placement Experience
Placements are only available in BMS course for which various companies like physics wallah and Chegg come here to give placements. Highest package from our college is of 7 lakhs and atleast 60% students get placements easily. In my course, you have to pursue post graduation for a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
28855 is the yearly fees in which 9585 is the tuition fees, 7270 is cswf, 1600 is university fees cswf, 10400 is the development fund cdf There are various scholarships for ews and science/st students, they get scholarship of minimum 10000.
Campus Life
Kalrav is the annual fest of our college in which various societies of our college and other colleges of Delhi University show their talents and skills. Sports like volleyball, archery, cricket, football, fencing, table tennis, badminton are available to play here.
Admission
I only applied for Delhi University and chandigarh University but I really wanted to study in Delhi University because just as I expected, faculty is amazing here and the crowd is really good, we get to experience different types of societies and can explore our hidden talents.
Faculty
Faculty of science is very educated,helpful and the student to faculty ratio is 1:10 means 1 teacher for every 10 students. The best faculties are Dr.Charu kalra and Dr.Priya goel and there is no one in the faculty that I don't like. There are internals exam and end semester exam which are moderate in difficulty. Most of the students pass the exams and it is very relevant to our course curriculum.
