My curriculum is good the courses are good and well established I think that it covers all the necessary required knowledge about engineering student must know and that's decent. Projects are also good

Internships Opportunities

Intership are for those who actually study what I mean is that to get internship you must have a skill set else they won't bother to consider you. So you must be skillfully rich in coding else don't hope about internship

Placement Experience

The placements are good, the highest placement of strong 80 lakhs in our campus. I think of a student performs well all for years of his curriculum he can secure a good placement and fulfill his dream of getting a good job

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is different for proper in different category. Peolw on lower category get the lowest fees and category five has the highest, my is category four. And I pay 3lakhs for hostel and 3.5 for tution

Campus Life

Campus Life is good, the campus ai good and big and green one can just roam around the campus if he does not like to study or maybe he can go back eat in a gymkhana or some shit but anyways the campus is liveable

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is big and spacious, I'm so glad the room is good and everyday it is cleaned. Hygiene can be maintained and toilets are also somewhat clean as they are washed Teri times a day. So it's liveable

Hostel Fee: INR 1200000 per year

Admission

I choose this college since I had no choice this is the best possible option for me as i did not clear jee advanced which is required for getting into a iit but sadly I did not clear it and went to the second best option

Faculty

Faculty members can't teach our scores their knowledge, even though they know their subject they cannot teach, we have to learn from youtube since we don't have option left,some faculty even don't bother to teach us

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
