I would rate my Botany course most relevant and good overall i love learning about plamts it covers various topics like ecology molecular biology It helps us for jobs and research students its bery helpful and internship .Some things can be made better like having internships opportunities field work lab jobs assistants which keeps lab we'll maintained..If group words peojevts included it wud be more fun..and give more preference on teaching guiding for real life job.Overall good exams are conducted well and disciplined

For BSc at Guwahati University the fees are about 10k to 15k yearly. includes tution fees admission and lab fees..For MSc botany is bit higher 12k and can go higher in diff courses. SC,ST gets scholarships benefits in merit cum need.. batches fees are similar with us.ST fees may get reduced fees while scholarships are available for OBC students to .Overall good experience and can cover expenses easily.Thank you

My experience with campus life was very good.There ate sports week every year .The main annual festival is Kalapariksha.in February where students shpw off their talents in diff fields.music dance etc. The library is well maintained good and available books. In classroom the facilities are quiet decent.we have projectors and smartboard for semminar.good learning experience. There are cultural teams and we can play soorts football basketball and cricket There are many other clubs and leaders are choosed by doing elections ..the students gets to vote there desired leaders .Campus is green and lively positive . There are also many rules you must follow in cultural week and leaders try the best to make is very success .Students take active part.overall so much fun in sports week many contests are held to for boys and girls and fashion show. Also festivals are celebrated in campus like Saraswati puja.Students are mostly active and teachers are well guiding and leader have the power

Hostel facilities are quite well and there are two seaters and four.Girls and boys have different buildings and campus ..girls hostels are well maintained and many buildings in different areas .For meal we get breakfasts lunch and dinner .Dinner are mostly non veg .luch consists of dal chawal and sabji .it varies everyday .We have large kitchen and dinning .students prefer to eat together in spacious dining hall and some at their room.Foods are fresh and has mess system.mess manager . Hostel rooms are well furnished and proper lighting easy for students hygiene and good toilets facilities For registration students needs to register at admission process.and need to wait for qualifying .And you need to pay around 1-2k monthly might increase later.the fees are well quite good easy. There are many available rented apartments for staying and pg good pgs and overall easy .price ranges from 5k to 10k im pgSome have wifi facilities.so thete are available options for stay .

I chose guwahati university over another because its well reputed university. Beautiful campus greenary ,i love the environment .I applied for Dibrugarh University too but its way too far from me ..I thought Guwahati and Dibrugarh both have the same facilities..and its kinda similar.No regrets. Tbh i didnt apply for other colleges except Dibrugarh.The admission process is based on merit based and entrance exam .its competitive many can fail .The cutoff can change every year.My experience in admissions process was smooth i filled up application online and luckily i got seat in desired branch

Teachers are usually friendly and open helping ..the number of students is manageable in botany around 35students..Dr Uma Kanta Chowra is most favourite one of plant taxonomy..His way of teaching is excellent ..I like all them . The university follows semester system 1st and 2nd .Marks are split between internal assessments and final exams 70% And there are practicals.Overall system good.
