College: Freedom of knowledge

The campus is very big and a very good place to explore nature and a beautiful lake is also there where people sit and enjoy. The toilets and washroom are kept clean daily. The canteen is little dirty and unhygienic.

There are four years in engineering degree. The first year course curriculum is same for all irrespective of type of engineering. After that each year consists of study specific to the type of engineering. We have 2 semester each year, with 2 exams per semester. Besides that our college also provided activity based learning and social activities likes beach cleanup, etc. The end sem exam is of 100 marks which decides the pointer along with the class test.

Their are numerous opportunity for internship and jobs in our college. Last year Microsoft recruited a computer engineering from our college with package if Rs.39 lacs per year. Various other super dream company comes to our college for placements and internship. Almost 95% of the students are placed in good company and get their dream job.

Our college being in central Andheri and next to Bhavans college organizes various fun and technical events which receives great number of participants. Some events like virtual placements, MUM, mock placements help students to develop public speaking and interview skills. Besides that fun events like DJ night, Food challenge, Stock market, Standup comedy, etc receives a huge response from students and they all are successful. Students and Faculty enjoy them alot.

The fee structure is a little high for middle class student. One year free is our college is approximately Rs.1.5 lacs. But, if your father income is less than 6lacs than you receive scholarship of half lacs from government. So, it's a affordable college and student can acheive their dream.

Our college provides scholarship based on your caste and father income. If your father income is less than 6lacs than approximately 50,000Rs scholarship is provided. If you belong to any category than approximately 100,000Rs scholarship is provided. And if you belong to any minority caste then 25000Rs scholarship is provided. All the scholarship are provided by government of Maharashtra. I take the 50,000 scholarship every year.

The college provides and motivates student to participate in different sports and extra activities. Some people like to play sports, so college organizes different competition and felicitates the winner. Marathon is a very popular event that takes places in college and almost 80% people participate. The Labs have computer and updated OS. They are available from morning 8 to evening 5 for students use.

I haven't opted for hostel. But some of my friends stay in hostel and most of the review and feedback are positive. The infrastructure if the hostels are very good. Girls and boys rooms are separated and after 9pm in night they are not allowed to go outside the hostels. There are two security guards in the hostels. Female hostels have female security guard. So, it's safe and comfortable to live there. They are little costlier but can be managed.

The senior students are very good and they help us by sharing their experience and books with juniors. No ragging takes place in our college with is very good. Also, college arranges different alumni meet weekly or monthly depending on the availability of the alumni. They share their experience, joy and placements tips through talks.

The entrance exam name is CET. Which is given by all the PCM(physics, chemistry, maths) students of science. Out of total 69 seats, 12 seats are given by Institute privately and 48 seats are distributed by government based on the CET marks and ranks. My CET score was 177. I was the fourth student from the top.

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and trained except some of them. The college faculty are actively participate in various college events and seminars. They are also a very great teacher, with well developed teaching methods and contents. Also, there evaluation of the student throughout the semester is also very strict. They teach to the point.
