Good college with good infrastructure with good opportunities but has an hectic schedule with lot of regulations. Digital library is available for all. It has an good collection of books and journals.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a four year degree course consisting 8 semesters. We have to give two internal theory examinations and one lab internal exam in each semester in each papers. 70 marks theory semester exam is conducted by university at the end of the each of semesters.
Placement Experience
Lots of IT companies come to our college with lot of job opportunities as well a core company like Godrej etc. too. 90.99% placement(as on September 19, 2018) has been achieved by our students. Our college are maintaining the consitency. But it had been observed that the placement graph is rising day by day.
College Events
Techfest with many various events, Humatronics with some different events, Game meet. Our college's cultural fest's name is Arcadia. It is usually held during the even semester teaching period. We also celebrate the fresher's welcome named 'Regatta'. It is organised by only 2nd year students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Course fee structure is decided in semesters. We have to pay 41000-45000 per semester to the college. The rate depends upon the semesters. As per university regulation, additional thirty thousand rupees we have to give to the college for the placement training purposes.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there are no such scholarships offered by our college that I know of or availed. Though there are some TFW students but they are allowed by University. Otherwise all have to pay same amount of money in the college for academic purpose.
Campus Life
In our college there are basket ball team, football team and volleyball team. Labs are mandatory for all. None can skip labs without showing any valid cause or reason to the concerned faculty of that lab. Tech fest and cultural fest are also organised by our college once in a year.
Alumni/Alumna
They are really helpful, they give their refferences for the placement purposes. Besides that they try to suggest some good courses besides the degree courses. We consider them as our mentor. They help us sharing study materials. Sometimes they helps us to learn fast by teaching some subjects like a professional. Some of the alumnies are now professors in some other colleges.
Faculty
Lot of IIT alumnies are in the college in the various departments as our proffesors. 30 regular faculty members are PhD's. Teacher student ratio is 1:20. 129 professors are in the college. 3 of them have authored three books. Average teaching experience of them is 10 years 7 months.
