Likes
- The faculty is super kind, intelligent and helpful. They encourage students to take part in various activities as well apart from focusing only in studies, they always tries to provide the best exposure and experiences which will be helpful.
- The facilities and opportunities like events, seminars, management competition, interactive sessions with businessman, CA, ability enhancement and skill based courses like google workspace are just amazing and it helps us a lot to build a good resume
- The students are very enthusiastic as well as the teachers. Together we can discuss about different startup ideas and i never got dissatisfaction from them.
Dislikes
- Although there are very less things to dislike but i disliked the campus of BBA my department
- I disliked the crowd specifically in the canteen area.
- I disliked the attitude of some seniors not all though some are really very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I enjoyed the subjects like macroeconomics and statistics a lot. This influenced me a lot to go towards mathematical aspect in future. The curriculum prepares us for the real world because it consists of things apart from studies like interships and different visits to businesses like industries and also interaction with various business figures and public figures. The timing of exams are little hectic and sometimes there is no gap between the exams which makes it little difficult to revise in just one night.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for a semester is around 42000 for BBA hons. And it may increase or decrease semester wise but not with huge amount. For the first semester it comes with a registration fee of around 3500 Rs. If a student scores above 90% in their 12th board then they gets a scholarship of 30% in their semester fees from 2nd semester onwards. The other courses in this college is also affordable and most importantly they provide wide range of opportunities and exposure.
Campus Life
There are various events which happens in our college like DHAMAAL, UMANG, CONCERT, CELEBRITY MEETUP, ANNUAL MANAGEMENT EVENT- Here students Innovates new products or new ideas with existing products. We have NSS, different communities like BULLS EYE for stock market, CELLULOID for flim making and all by students.
Admission
Yes I applied into other colleges but I liked this college the most so i choosed to study in this. The major reasons to reject others was - I wanted the exposure along with the enjoyments like fests, concerts.
Faculty
The faculty is very good, intelligent and super helpful and supportive. They helps us in everything from studying to encouraging us for doing management events, for public speaking, for internships. They will help you in everything which needs to be done for the best resume or CV. They are very kind and approachable. The professors I loved the most are - Tridib Sen Gupta, Nilanjana Roy , Chiranjib Mitra, Soumali Bose, Sutapa Banik, Paridhi Agarwal, Dabarati Guha. Honestly I never disliked any of them so there are no names for dislike. There is one TUTORIAL exam before the main exam which is held in home centre that is our college and it is of 50 marks. And after around 10 days of Tutorial exam, we have our main university exams in the Out centre that is in some other colleges as per the allotted centres and the marks depends on the subjects like 2 credit or 3 or 4 credit subject and the marks can be of 50 marks and highest 75 marks written and 25 taken from that tutorial of 50 mark.
