What Students Say

Likes

The teaching faculty were pretty well versed in the courses.
The infrastructure is also pretty amazing.
The courses and curriculum was designed perfectly and it did help me to join a company.

Dislikes

The library need improvement since there are no much books as such for referring
The canteen facility was also not given making it hard for the students
The faculty needs to be a little bit for proficient in the English language, making the students to grasp onto that quickly

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BBA HRM as I was passionate towards people management, the course did help me with a lot of things. The course gave me an insight to the HR world making it easier for me to clear interviews and get placed in a good company.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid an overall of 60k for my entire degree. 10k per semester was my fees. Which pretty affordable based of the course which I chose. For SC/ST the fees are just 5k per semester, making it feasible for ever student.

Campus Life

In my college we had a lot of celebrations like onam, eid, sports day etc. And a lot of clubs were there too in order to enhance the social and cultural skills of the students. They did have elections also inorder to inculcate the democratic values into the students

Admission

As I chose BBA HRM as a course, which wasn't provided by a lot of colleges in Palakkad district and I was pretty sure that I wanted to chose that particular course hence I joined the college. The admission process was also pretty easy and went very smoothly

Faculty

The faculty was pretty well versed in the courses and clearing the doubts of the students perfectly. The exams are always a problem when it comes to Calicut University, they conduct the exam whenever they feel like and they even conduct back to back 2 or 3 semesters of exams making it difficult for the students to cover everything in one go.

My Experience at the university

Placement Experience:

Since I'm in the 1st semester, i really don't have a great idea about the placements but as far as I know Chinmaya Vishwa vidyapeeth university has their dedicated training, placement and corporate relations center. The highest package was 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package might be 4 LPA. Nike, mastek are the few companies who came to recruit After completing my degree, i might go for a job and then complete my PG.

Course Curriculum Overview:

soem subjects i feel very unnecessary are IKS and SANSKIRT..even so collectively speaking nobody understands the reason why they are being asked to learn iks(Indian knowledge system).and for sanskirt we could argue its a language and learning it would be some consideration a skillset but even though if that is the case we mustn't force somebody to learn it.it should be a choice

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester is eligible for campus placements. Infosys,Tcs, allianze, guidehouse etc are main companies visited. Average package was 3-5lpa Most of the students opt for higher studies than placement but students who appeared for placement more than half of them got job offers. My plan is to get job through placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is kinda good like it's informative i got to study many things I didn't knew and it was interesting but practically no use..No practical sessions are provided for us so we have no practical skills only theory so they should improve that. Exams are normally not so tough not too easy you should study to pass .

Placement Experience:

As of i heard from the pass out students, the campus placement in this college is only medium. And one thing that increases the campus placement of the college is they provide add on courses in which students with good qualities and get good placements from college itself.
