Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum designed by Mumbai University focuses on the core subjects of each branch also a few non core subjects are included in syllabus. Because of such syllabus students study about their branch subjects as well as the subjects which are some how related to other branches are also studied by students so that they get a general idea about other fields as well.
Placement Experience
The placements as well as internships in my college are extremely superb. Approximately 95% of the eligible students get placed in big firms with a huge package. The internship opportunies in my college varies like some company provide stipend and sum do not. The highest stipend for internship is Rs.30,000 per month in TIAA and the highest package provided is 13 LPA by Amazon.
College Events
My college has number of events celebrated. As the term begins it has a TechFest in which all the technical as well as the fun events are organised after which we celebrate teachers day as well on a large scale. In the next odd sem we have our annual cultural fest named HORIZON which is the biggest cultural fest in Navi Mumbai. After which we celebrate Tie and Saree Day and Traditional day. Again in this sem we have TechFest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of my college for a open candidate is quite better as compared to other engineering colleges. The fee ranges between Rs. 93,000- 1 Lakhs per annum. The college also provides us with a option of payment through online gateways as well as DD.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various Scholarship programs are available by State Government as well as the central Government in which the fees is waved upto 50%. Special seats called TFWS are provided by DTE in which a student from a Economically backward class students tution fees is waved off and needs to pay only a fees of approx Rs. 15,000
Campus Life
My college provides alot chances to students to make their hobby grow as we have various committes named Kalarag that only looks for the students that have interest in singing, dancing and role play acts. We have a dedicated Sports committee that keep on participation in various competition and keep us proud of being a part of such a huge family
Hostel Facilities
My college has only girls hostel. The infrastructure of the hostel is well built. Hostel has its own canteen where only girls are allowed. There are AC rooms and Non AC Rooms, one can choose as per the budget.
Alumni/Alumna
Shankar Mahadevan is one of the famous alumni of my college and many of the alumnis of my college are a higher posts in big firms like Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, TCS, TIAA. Because of such a strong alumni network the placements of my college are at par in whole Navi Mumbai.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is extemely helpful to solve the doubts as well as pushing students to develop new projects so as the build up their resume. Teachers here need the submission within the deadline, if missed deadline then grades are been deducted from the final marks.
