Course Curriculum Overview
The course ie the Theory and Practical experiments in the Labs The curriculum prepares you well to face and handle well the teal world applications. This was part of the course structure. The faculty also put in their efforts in developing the characteristic of students that covers all aspects of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every quater fees paid was Rs.25000 including exam fees,tuition fees. Registration fees was paid one time Rs. 40000.It was a 4year course. I Received no scholarship. 5 of my batchmates received variable amount subsidized on course fees.
Campus Life
The name of the fest cannot recall. They were typically held in the month of December. The range of the books and journals were very varied.It consists of all the reference books for the technical subjects that was part of the course and very relevant subjects but not in the course,books and journals from renowned authors and professors.The collection was aligned with the course and relevant with time and real world. The collection was almost around 12-15000. The facilities were extremely good.The library was extremely organised to be easy enough for finding a book.The issue and return process was also very quick and easy.Also the number of same books were a lot to be issued to a lot of students at the same tiime.Once in 6 months there was a sports day held at the college campus.Otherwise there were also different indoor games and cricket matches played among all batches during the breaks.The college also partcipated in all kind of inter college sports and won prizes.Annual magazine.
Admission
I had applied 2 other colleges just for a backup option. But this was first on my preference list.Eventhough I got selected by the other 2 colleges I was happiest to be selected and pass from this college. The reason for choosing the college were many like very advance and modern Lab, very knowledgable Faculty the Campus, also very top ranked students. The eligibility was to crack WBJEE.Then as per ranks you get to choose top colleges.Then the colleges interview the applicant and decide to admit them to their selected courses.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was 1:20.The telationship between students and faculties wete very amiable. Faculty was very particular about mainitaining the class timings and was always approachable after the class hours for any kind of issues related or not related to studies. All faculty members were good. Exams were very difficult. But faculty members were very helpful to prepare the students to handle difficult questions. So the assignments they gave were of even higher levels.So it was not very hard for the students to pass in the exams.
