Course Curriculum Overview
I personally chose this course due to the exemption to the acca exams that it provides. The course helps a lot in the real world. other than that, it allows students to have real work experience through an internship semester which is very useful.
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are provided in the last semester and companies like dupont, and many other companies. The stipend usually varies from 10k to 25k. The tasks are usually working under an accountant.
Placement Experience
There are a few placement options, however, i personally did not look into it much since i did not want to work after college. i wanted to focus on clearing my remaining acca exams. Few of my friends did get placements for around 50k per month and some got for 3 lakhs per annum as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was an NRI student and paid 6,300 dollars per year. However, i got a 10% scholarship so it was a little reduced. My classmates in general quota had paid only around 6 lakhs for the entire 3 year course.
Campus Life
Social life is really good. Manipal is full of life and there are so many events and sports you can take part in. you can be a part of Many clubs. There are often many singers and famous personalities who visit and holi is celebrated well.
Admission
Honestly, i didnt apply to any other college, i wanted to get into Manipal and thats all i applied to. I just wanted the 9 paper exemption and therefore chose the course. The admission process was very simple i applied on their website and got in. The general quota however does have an interview which is not very tough to clear.
Faculty
The faculties are all amazing, They are very approachable. There are around 60 people per class and faculties can always be approached for doubts. Few faculties that i like are Subhramanyam sir, Mahendra Shenoy sir, Shawn sir and many more. The exam structure is good, there are midterms and end sem exams. Majority students clear the exams. The course curriculum is good and very useful.
