Not a Good Experience

Core companies don't come in the college for placement... A lot of faculties don't give their efforts in studying students and making students understand the topic... The way of classes and teaching techniques are boring

The course curriculum is based on WBUT syllabus affiliated to AICTE and college provides several courses like B. Tech, M. Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA etc. Exams are conducted by MAKAUT board and semester wise yearly 2 exams are conducted by the board... Before the final board exams final lab exams are conducted by the college itself

Job opportunities are not so good for core students.. Mostly IT companies come during placement drive... As I am from core department I don't think any good core companies even visited the college in last 2-3 years... IT companies are giving placement and an average salary of 2.5k for freshers which is not so bad... About 40% students from CSE, ECE and IT are getting placed... For electrical the percentage is low and for Civil and Mechanical it's even lower

Several events are celebrated in the college... The main events are Tech-Fest and Cultural Fest conducted few days ago... And the rest programs are Freshers welcome, Orientation Day for freshers, Teachers Day, Saraswati Puja, Farewell for Final Year students and Hostel night for hostel students

The fee structure is designed by MAKAUT.. average of 45k per semester is the fees for Non-hostel student and 70k per semester for hostel-students.. These fees are for normal students.. TFW students don't pay the tution fees of 40k per semester so there semester fees are 5k for Non-hostel student

The college provides full tution weaver of 40k per semester for TFW students... Moreover scholarship exams are conducted by the college for poor students But I never appeared for the exam as I don't fulfill the criteria for thr exam.... Load is provided form Banks in case of study from banks... Many of my friends are studying on loan

Extracurricular activities are one of the main part of college.. college have a large campus and several playground like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, basketball etc... Sports day is conducted every year and moreover college haveing a Gym in it... College organises Karate for students weekly with certification

I lived the Hostel for the 1st two years... All the facilities are good in hostel just the main problem for which I started staying at PG is the food quality of hostel.... I don't like the hostel food personally and another reason is one room for four students... So the room becomes very crowded all the times.

My personal experience with seniors is not so good... Most of seniors don't write their own assignment themselves and they give it to their juniors.. But college has taken steps in this regard and Started taking class assignments from this year

After the Higher Secondary examinations are over I give the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination better known as WBJEE and I got a rank of About 30k and I appeared for online counselling process and in the 3rd round of counselling I got this college in Electrical Department

The faculties of our college average... Some are good enough and some are not good at making students understand what are they teaching... As I am from Electrical department and from the 3 year experience I can conclude that among 30+ faculties in our department 5-6 are very good in my view... 10-15 are average and rest may have knowledge but dont know how to teach students
