Likes

Culturals , which held occasionally , especially in our ECE department.
Friendly and well-educated staffs are there.
College life and the environment is quite good. Plus , good placement.

Dislikes

Placement is average.Could have been better.
The HITECH is not as big in campus size as the HICET.
The HITECH does not have vast number of departments as the HICET.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose ECE without sound knowledge about this course before joining. I had a bit of interest in mobile phone hardware during my school days. That's why I chose ECE. Exams are not too hard to pass....

Various internships opportunities are provided in HITECH. Some of them are NCR , the ATM manufacturing company in Chengalpattu , Chennai with a stipend of 15000 per month , along with food facilities. CRI pumps , Coimbatore is another honourable mention.

In our college , placements are quite good , if not the best. Top IT Giants like Cognizant , Wipro , Hexaware , etc visited our college and 1 student got placed in a company with an annual package of 21LPA.

Hello everyone.I'm currently doing my Bachelor's degree in ECE at Hindusthan Institute of Technology , Coimbatore.The Fees I pay for my course is 75000 per year. I joined this college through counselling. Management quota fees may vary.

Admission

I got around 169.525 percent Cut-off in my 12th std. My parents wished that I might study in Coimbatore. I was in the third round of the counselling. I applied for ECE, IT , CSE ,AIDS in both HITECH and HICET. I got automobile engineering in HICET at first. Then I applied for upward movement and got ECE in HITECH at last.

Faculty

There are sufficient number of teachers in our college. Faculties are friendly and liberal , especially in our ECE department. I'm currently doing my Final year but don't have any hatred towards any teacher

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.
