Good College with fair amount of opportunities

College supports overall development of an individual. Its one the oldest college in mumbai which was developed in 1929.Overall experience of college is very good and anybody can apply for this college without any hesitation.

The course curriculum of mumbai university is not completely in sync with latest trends in technology and industrial field. But still it has now being revamped and more application based subjects are getting included in curriculum. However the first year of engineering contains some subjects that are not even related to course. The exam structure of mumbai university is such that for each semester there are 2 unit tests of 15 - 20 mks each and there will be end semester exams along with practicals and viva.

The placement opportunities for computer and it department is quite good as there are more than 20 companies that come to our campus for recruitment. Our college also provide help to students until they don't get placed in campus recruitment process by providing off campus recruitment opportunities. About internships our college doesn't provide in college internships but they affiliate with other organizations which provide internships. The college provides notice about these internships to students so that they can apply for it.

College conducts annual fest in the month of February or March which is quite popular. In this fest there are various events like coding competitions, fun gaming events, fashion show, open mic, etc. Along with the fest college also conducts departmental events and workshops.

Fee structure of college is in accordance to mumbai university and almost every mumbai university colleges fee structure is the same. However the fee structure is feasible. There are some seats reserved for economically backward students and minority cast students.

The college is muslim minority college so it provides scholarship for muslims. However there are also some scholarships for students of backward cast and open cast students of economically backward class. But there is no scholarship for students scoring high marks which I think should be there.

College supports extra curricular activities and there are teams for cricket and football. College also contains library and canteen.The labs are air conditioned and have updated desktops supporting latest technologies.

College supports anti ragging and there is a check that no such activities like ragging or bullying should happen. Aluminis and seniors of college are quite supportive to juniors. Overall the environment of college is friendly. Aluminis and seniors also conduct various workshops for juniors so that they can be well versed with current technologies.

I got admission in this college after giving mh-cet entrance exam. After giving mh-cet exam we need to provide list of colleges all over maharashtra that we need to admit into along with branch information. Then based on the score in mh-cet exam we will be getting college listed from top to bottom. There will be 3 rounds in which you will be allotted 1 college in each round but once you reject a college for a particular round you can't apply for that college. Once you select the college allotted. You need to go in college for confirmation of your application and further proceed for payment of fees.

Since this is an undergraduate course we can't expect faculties to spoon feed everything. We as students need to develop self learning skills. But inspite of that faculty staff of our college are quite supportive and also motivate the students to develop new skills aside from the curriculum. They also promote students to participate in various events organized by industries and colleges all over the country.
