Regular classess- rearly some classes are suspended
Strict labs- lab activities are done very serictly
Supportive lecturers - in case any issue teachers are suppotive

Dislikes

Course structure -the course structure is very messy
Less time for semesters- only got 3-4 monta for semester
Less faculties -- faculties are not available as required

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching is average We are just studying for clear the exam College isn't letting us to concentrate on programming which is important for our placement. The programming classes are again taken casually

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 39600 per year

Placement Experience

A few companies come and some of the students only get placed on very minimal salary packages. About 5-6 companies come to college every year. Most of the students get selected in the placement drive are not even appear interview due to poor packages

The whole cse course costs 3.84 lakhs Annually we have to pay 96000 rupees Tution fees- 70000rs Development fees -15000rs Lab maintenance fees -3000ra Student activities fees -3000rs Examination fees -5000rs

Campus Life

The social life is average. Students re interconnected through WhatsApp groups and insta pages. The sensor junior interaction is very good This is an ragging free campus. Strict actions are taken against ragging

Hostel Facilities

Not enough hostels are available. Average hostel living. The food is not good. Facilities are average . Badminton courts are there in the hostel. Now there are 4 hostels available . One of them is for girls. Hotel rent 12000/year

Admission

I had eagerly waiting for sce branch. I had applied for other colleges as well. I found this college is average and mere to my home town This college comes under Sambalpur University which is a govt. College

Faculty

There are less faculties available as required. The seats are getting increased but due to less no of faculties the classes are getting disturbed The math faculties re egoistic. Excited to lot letting much students to clear the exam. Sudarshan jena the dean is a good mentor Programming Lab assistants are food Lab assistants are good Kc. Patra is a bad teacher

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Value for Money Education in Rourkela

applied to a few colleges under Sambalpur University for B.Com including some private institutes in Rourkela. I selected Rourkela College because the fee structure is affordable and the college has a decent reputation for Commerce courses. The location is also convenient for me, which saves time and makes daily travel easier. The admission process was completely merit-based through the SAMS Odisha online portal. After submitting the CAF form, the seat was allotted on the basis of my 12th percentage. The process was smooth and there were no unnecessary requirements like entrance exams or donations. Cutoff was reasonable, so admission felt fair for everyone. Compared to private colleges, Rourkela College offers more value for the money. The faculty is experienced and the academic environment is disciplined. Facilities may not be very modern, but the teaching quality and learning atmosphere are strong enough to help students build a good foundation for future career or higher studies.
