Remarks

The college is a good engineering college and there is no better engineering college in Ludhiana. Also the college is government aided and autonomous. Also it has NBA accreditation. It helps students in becoming successful engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am doint information technology in this college. It has quite good infrastructure and the subjects offered are 5-6 in each semester. There are two mid sessionals in the semester and one final exam of 60 marks. And 40 marks are for practicals and assignments.different subjects have different credits.

Placement Experience

Regular placement drives are conducted in this college. Companies like accenture, Infosys, Wipro, hp, Samsung and many big names visit the campus for placements and the average package is 3-4 lakhs.also the college provides internship opportunities. I am in 2nd year so i dont have any experience

College Events

There are ample of events celebrated on this college. Some of the famous events are Atharva the tech event, Genesis and many other events are organized by the different societies in the college. Regularly events take place here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not so expensive. Semester fee is around 40-50 thousand and there are scholarships for rural areas. There is no exam fee in this college. For reappear exam every exam costs Rs. 1500.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships for rural people or backward classes.Pragati and shaksham scholarships is one of them.Students can avail this scholarship if they are eligible for this. Also there are various other programs.

Campus Life

There is a good infrastructure for labs and every subject has different labs and the labs are fulky equipped. Also the college provides full support for extra-curricular activities. There are various playgrounds for different games like table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, cricket and many other. Also there is day scholar club for various activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are very helpful. And to know about the alumni tjere is training and placement cell known as tnp cell. The senios provide full support to the students and helps them if u want. They help in providing books,guides for the preparation of the exams and various other things.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of jee mains exam.my jee mains rank was between 3lakh to 4 lakh so i got admission in direct admission process in IT branch. Also the admission tales place through ptu website which also takes on the basis of jee exam.

Faculty

The faculty of gndec is quite good and experienced. They have full knowledge of the subject. Also they take care of students very well. Provide study materials and assignments regularly.There are different teachers for different subjects.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam .
