Likes
- Faculty is good and they provide good mentorship there teaching method is good
- Infrastructure of college is good and clean with air conditioned rooms.
- The social interaction is good in college as their are lots of clubs/socities in the college engaging students in different activities and improve technical skills . Many workshops are conducted for guidance and industry exposure.
Dislikes
- There are very few internship opportunities in college and average package of placements is very less.
- Also the highest package is 14 lakhs only on campus amd product based companies don't visit the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to improve my technical skills so I opted this course. This course is relevant for research purposes but if we talk about the industrial exposure or job purpose we have to upgrade our skills seperately and out of the curriculum
Placement Experience
The average placement package is 4-5 lakhs per annum Students from 6 to 8 semesters are eligible for campus placements. Service based companies visit our college like TCS, Infosys etc amd the highest package is 14 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is less due to less visit of companies so they have to apply for off campus interviews. My plan is to grab a on campus placement and further improve my skills for more good packages
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year it was 173900 and then in second year it become 153900 and from third year onwards we will pay 10k less. Academic fees is 132900, university fees is 20000 and student activity fees is 1000. There is no scholarship on merit basis.
Campus Life
College conducts annual sports fest of duration of 1 week and a technical fest for duration of 2 days. Small events are organised in college. College library has wide range of books and journals. Every classroom has projectors for smart classes. Sports facilities are good and main sport of college include basketball, football volleyball, tabel tennis, badminton, athletics, cricket etc. There are approximately 30 clubs run by students which improve social interaction, help to fight with stage fear and improve soft skills, confidence and most importantly improve leadership andmanagement skills
Admission
I applied in JAC delhi, ipu councelling and BCA councelling in ipu, my jee rank was not enough for the JAC delhi colleges so i got addmission into this college. I previously got enrolled in BCA 3 year program from ip University only but then i got my seat into btech and i opted this college . For this college student must appear for jee mains
Faculty
Faculty student relationship is good and faculties are approachable for guidance and other mentorships. I don't know much about my current faculties but in first year sumit chawla sir, lalit batra, and some other faculties are good . There are in total 4 exams are conducted 2 mid terms of 30 marks, 1 internal practical, 1 external practical and then final examinations. At this time we are engaged more in exam part than improving our skills so we find it difficult with exams to improve our skills. First semester is easy to crack but main difficulties start from second semester onwards where most of the students fail mathematics subject and applied physics subject. Honestly the course curriculum is same as the other engineering colleges which is not enough for the industrial skills but if anyone wants to opt for the research part in sciences then it is a great curriculum
