Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose the course mainly for going in the film industry but the subjects in course haven't started a yet. Subjects with camera handling and performance are still left to start. Also there's alot of assignment pressure and course is a bit confusing for now.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 2 installments in a year with 6months gap each of 130000 and total is 230000 fee for my course. It's relatively less than many of other courses so it's not bad. Also as NRI student and seat registration we paid 10000 extra before getting admission. Scholarship for people above 70% score is 50% less and students above 90% score have full scholarship

Campus Life

4

My campus life is quite amazing and luxurious, it takes 10 min to walk from the entry gat to back gate of clg showing how big campus is. Also they celebrate all hindu festivals like Raam navmi, ekadashi, janmashtami, ganesh chaturthi etc and events are almost every month which is quite fun. There are so many contests of writing, dancing, sports and tons of clubs for all activities like music, films, design etc for making new connections and also ralleys for anti bullying, suicide prevention and raising voice against women rights are done.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel facility are worst I do not recommend taking hostels. Here they took all the admission even after hostels being full which made so much troublances and students couldn't go to their selected hostels and rooms also they had to build up new hostels due this which were under-construction hence students had to live in very small messy rooms with dirty washrooms eventhough every hosteller from good or bad building had same amount of fees which was not fair also they promised to give ac and gym which we didn't get and good is very tasteless and wardens are so bad.

Admission

MIT WPU was my first choice in india and got selected in first attempt as well. The admission process for clg is having minimum of 50% in boards and passing few online interviews and test to get into the uni.

Faculty

2

The faculty is not very good also marking scheme is according attendance credits and overall performance in class and exam. 40 marks for written exam and 60 for other class activities. Passing criterion on 40 is 24 and on 60 is 34

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
