What Students Say
Likes
- The library is huge with many helpful books and ebooks available, there is a reading room too , the college itself is not very chaotic.
- The girls room, since the college is co-ed, there is a girls room , where girls can go relax during their break times
- Shops, there are shops inside the college for essentials you might need and some food corners too
Dislikes
- The canteen , it is not well maintained, the infrastructure is not good and most of the property is damaged
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BA because it is something necessary for further studies, the course is purely theory based , except geography which might conduct a few practicals. The teachers should take calsses regularly and recommend some books for help
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is semester wise and a semester is of 6 months so you pay around 10000 for 6 months this includes lab fees , practical fees ,etc , but exam fees is not included. Scholarship exams are held for economically weaker sections.
Campus Life
There is only one club in this college, that is the dramatic club and there is no place for people who like art , small college level compititions are held . The classrooms are clean but the furniture is old , new lecture halls are well equipped and labs are too. The sports pavilion is well equipped too , sports events are held too. There are societies in the college that encourages participation in different activities
Admission
This college had good location and the overall rating was best, the infrastructure and faculty members are great. I applied to 4 colleges and got accepted in all , but I chose this because of the reputation it holds among people I know. The admission process is simple, apply through the DHE Portal online and the addmission is Full merit based, there are no entrance exams or interviews.
Faculty
The faculty is very helpful but they do not take calsses regularly, the NEP added a few new subjects for students but the classes are not taken regularly for these subjects and during exams if creates unnecessary burden on students
