Fees for almost every course is very reasonable.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fee for Bachelor of Arts in Postgraduate Govt. College, Chandigarh is around 25k. Due to its govt. roots, the fees is very reasonable. No extra fees like tuition fees, lab fees, etc. is taken from students as the principal amount covers all the fees in it. There are mutliple schemes available in the college. Students who can't afford to pay full fees are given exemption. Several methods are followed to exempt students fees like scholarship under NSP, College scholarships, fees exemption for needy, and other private scholarships.

The fees is semester wise and a semester is of 6 months so you pay around 10000 for 6 months this includes lab fees , practical fees ,etc , but exam fees is not included. Scholarship exams are held for economically weaker sections.

Fees is affordable like 20000/- year and 3000 exam fees. So, it is very affordable and best. College campus is also very big. Specially for the sports students. Nice library and reading room. Have many clubs like vada,anti corruption.

Well I'm in a government college so the fees is affordable than the semi government once on a regular class bases. Well those whose father are in army forces get to have free education and on of my friend is from bcom he said his fees is around 15000/16000 per sem

my whole year fees is 10,000 . It provides scholarship as well in which half of the fees gets turned if the student has scored more than 85% in class 12th . I am doing ba first year And I have seen that our college provides special needs to SC ST and OBC category. Students seats are reserved for them.

Hi , as i got admission I was required to pay about rupees 12,500 . And then after sometime 250 for exam fees . Firstly i was confused that my friend payed only 10000 at the time of admission and i payed more than her , what's the reason? But while paying exam fees she paid 1300 then i got to know that it depends on subjects as well . And about scholarship , various scholarships are available for almost every section - general , sc ,st , north east students , himachal students , etc and for general the maximum income should be 4,50,000 , an affidavit or salary slip is required for it . And the scholarship form is available on nsp portal

My College Experience- Challenges I faced and Friendships Made

Attending a government college and pursuing a BA was really cheap for me. I paid less than a lakh for the whole degree, and there were no examination fees. Although it was cheap, it didn't add any value or I had the opportunity to upscale myself. There are merit-based scholarships. The quality of education was very good. The courses and teaching methods weren't very good, I spent years studying, but I didn't gain the skills or knowledge for my future career.
