What Students Say
Likes
- Teachers are already engineers, so they have a lot of experience. They even provide us one-one attention unlike other colleges where teachers don't even know their students name. There are 4 teachers available 24*7 for us in our hostel.
- The infrastructure is best. There's no college in India that has better infrastructure than Scaler School of Technology's infra.
- Laptops are compulsory for every class, which reduces our tension to carry lots of notebooks and additionally we get practical knowledge.
Dislikes
- The food here is not too good but they are improving as we are giving our feedback.
- We don't have lots of fests here. We are only asked to focus on our study more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of Scaler School of Technology is the only curriculum in India that's relevant to today's world. We are not even taught physics and chemistry like other colleges which is completely irrelevant for computer science students. It is compulsory for us to carry our laptops to the class which helps us gain practical knowledge of programming. There are no areas of improvement to be done in the course curriculum and teaching methods as it is already the best and if some changes are needed they are done. We have mid-term every 1.5 months and final exams every 3 months.
Internships Opportunities
Interview bit - SDE - ?35,000/month Dukan - SDE - ?20,000/month and lots have got in different startups with an average stipend of 35k-50k. The maximum stipend was above ?1,00,000/month as an SDE. These were the internship details of students who just passed 1st year.
Placement Experience
Until now it's only been 1 year since our college started so we didn't start placements til now but the students have already started getting and on an average students are getting a stipend of 35k-50k on average and a maximum going above 1 lakh.

The hostel fees are increasing every year.
Campus Life
We have a fest called Rise Up. We generally study from our computer only but we have quite a lot of books in our library. We are allowed to bring our laptops to the classroom, and we have power outlets everywhere in the campus. We have lots of clubs for extracurricular like entertainment club, media club, creators club, sports club, Ted talk tribe club.
Hostel Facilities
We have an option for double sharing (1.8 lakhs per year) or triple sharing (1.5 lakhs per year). The mess food is okay, not so good but yes they are improving. We have a variety of food. We have lots of restaurants near around and Zepto, blinkit, and other services are also available properly.
Admission
I gave JEE and IAT. I got a 20k rank in the IAT but I chose Scaler School of Technology because of its curriculum, its way of teaching, its average package, its experience in Scaler Academy, and the place it is located in (Bengaluru) which makes us more exposed to teach companies, events, and help us network with the tech leaders. I didn't get selected for JEE because I wasn't at all interested in chemistry but I had to study it forcefully, Scaler School of Technology doesn't care about whether we are good in physics and chemistry or not because we don't need physics chemistry in computer science. Scaler takes admission through its exam Scaler NSET which asks 3 sections, Maths (Probability, Number theory, P&C, Statistics, and Sets), Learning ability, and Logical reasoning. You must be less than 20 years of age to apply to Scaler School of Technology. If you clear the cutoff of the exam (which is generally 24% overall or more than 45% in any section) you will proceed to a personal interview round which will focus on knowing you, your dreams and aspirations, your level in Maths, and your tech achievements.
Faculty
There are 150 students in every group, and there are 450 students in our batch 2024-2028. There is 1 teacher for Introduction to Programming Language, 1 for Web dev and 1 for Discrete maths and apart from this, there are lots of assistant teachers as well. We have 4 BSMs(Batch Success Managers) who stay with us in our hostel and are there to help us even at 3:00 am. Our college also brings different tech leaders to teach us a few subjects when we have them. We have a few of our selected seniors as our teaching assistants who help us whenever we stuck in our assignments. We have our exams computer-based, in which we have to bring our laptops and give tests on a specially designed platform except for Discrete Maths, which is pen and paper-based. Exams are generally on the level of teaching done in our class or a little bit higher. We don't get many students failing to clear the exams, as our college starts paying more attention to the students who don't perform well in class eventually making good enough in the concepts.
Interview Experience
We had a personal interview round to learn about us, our dreams and aspirations, our level in maths, and our tech achievements. I practiced maths and had to be the real me and have to revise what I have done in tech.
