Course Curriculum Overview
I find the management and economics part of the curriculum appealing since, I have interest in economics and management science. The curriculum is a reasonable blend of practical and theoretical knowledge ensuring a overall development of one looking to build career in finance and management. The exams are held twice and are moderate in difficulty level, with the MCQ exams for even semesters easier than comprehensive theory exam for odd semesters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is ?8,099 for me (not self finance) and ?16,000 for self finance students in B.Com, students with low percentage in 12th standard usually get addmission in self finance fee structure with a higher fees than more meritorious students. ?2,830 is for even semesters and ?5,269 is for odd semesters while for self finance it is ?8000 for every semester. I do get a government scholarship through NSP portal amounting to ?5,000, which I'm not sure but I believe is for the minorities. The fees for complete course will cost me about ?24,297.
Campus Life
I didn't experienced any cultural events but from what I have heard they are not very exciting and are overall bland. The library is well built with air conditioning and great collection, students will find all their reading need fulfilled.
Admission
I didn't applied for any other college besides National P.G and Shia P.G, I get into the latter because its is 5 minutes walk away from my home and is much linent on attendance policy allowing me to do jobs building my skills and experience whilst also being able took care of my expenses on my own. The exams are merit baded without any examination.
Faculty
Most of the faculties I engaged with are extremely respectful and professional and are reasonably good educators. Some teacher I are even too lenient, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. I found no-one who I can say I disliked. There is one in exam in every semester (six months) MCQ based in even semesters which is easier than long form comprehensive exmas for odd semesters.
