Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my opinion I had no other option than to pick this course particularly it was my family's choice not mine can't do anything about it it was just a safe back up or so my parents think I chose this college as it was in my state and was affordable

Placement Experience

3

Students after 4th semester are given training for placement they pick students in a bulk but then fire them just to increase the placement percentage in paper but we'll known companies come to college to pick their students and some really talented ones are chosen and also the internships are provided

Fees and Financial Aid

In total it's roughly 4 lakhs with hostel opting students with no ac give 90000 including mess charge they don't allow any electronics like boilers or kettles the girls hostel condition is very bad with old rooms

Campus Life

3

No events are held in our campus because there is no space literally but there are many clubs in our campus that take their members to other campuses and even other cities and colleges plus the farewell is given club wise no freshers or farewell officially

Hostel Facilities

1

The rooms are excessively small the menu is good but the quality of food is terrible opting hostel is a safer option but completely waste of money terrible behaviour of caretakers and terrible room conditions well I'm talking about girls hostel I don't know about male hostels

Admission

Well I was preparing for neet but couldn't make it for a few points I couldn't take private medical colleges as they were way too expensive and i applied to CV Raman college for B-Tech but it was making me study CS cloud computing instead of CSE core so I opted for the college I'm currently studying in

Faculty

3

The teaching faculty is very reachable and understanding as well as helpful but the hostel caretakers are too much of egoists and non helping unless the parents call they don't listen to the students complaints and sometimes even avoid parents call once a year there are 2 semisters and those are easy to pass but there are nearly no events organised

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students. The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini. The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
