A good College under University board to do Engineering in Nagpur.

Positive thing is appreciation of bright students and support to the weak students,there are two policies Bright Students policies and Weak students policies. Negative thing is there is no atmosphere which attracts students who don't want to study to learn new things.

The course curriculum is precise but it can be updated with the latest technological advancements and trends it is constantly being updated but improvement is needed ,the exam pattern is simple 20 marks internal because I have University pattern (RTMNU) and 80 Marks on paper the internals are based on behaviour, assignments,Exams,practicals, Attendance,etc. The Exam pattern is good but it can be improved too.

Internships are done in our college and the placement rate is also good cannot say about Mechanical engineering because we are the first batch of our college and I am in 3rd year,we have done 2 internships till now 2 more to go also our college arranges 3 to 4 Industrial visits per semester, internships are done without stipend but we get to learn a lot and acquire a lot of knowledge.

The events in our college are:- 1) Malhar 2) Technowave 3) Republic Day and Independence Day Malhar is a cultural event which has different competitions where we can showcase our talents on stage like Dancing,singing,Drama,standup comedy, Music Instruments playing, Fashion Show, etc. Technowave is a technical events for two days which consist of many events of almost everything you can think of for an event every branch has 4 to 5 events and those have to be minimum 2 technical events and other common for enjoyment. Workshops,Open Mics, Quizzes, Treasure hunt, Programming Events,Robo races,Robo football,Pubg, LAN Gaming,Poster making, painting,Street plays,forging event,Lathe machines based events, Bodybuilders obstacle course,paint ball,etc. The Red letter Day's for India Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated while we have flag hosting,street plays,a kite flying competition (Kiref),Cycle Rally to support Greenery and reduce Pollution and All the students are Honoured with the competition the have won in Intercollege competitions.

It is a bit Expensive but can be reduced to the services we get from the college it is almost 90000 Rupees per year . It is a bit unfeasible but it is usual for every good College to maintain the quality education.

Loan facilities are available as student loan and the Scholarship can be redeemed as per the caste of the student and the college provides EBC for Economically weak students to reduce the amount payable to the college.

Activities like Industrial visit are conducted,Labs are good for carrying out the required experiments but the faculties have less knowledge of Instruments present in the labs to teach the students,Sports is a major part of activities where sports like Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho kho,Kabaddi.These sports are played in college in Intracollege competition between branches.

Our Batch is first in Mechanical so we don't have an alumni of Mechanical but we do have Alumni of our college working in Big Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart and Government sector too. The alumni of other branches are invited to the college to guide the students on how to make yourselves equipped with skills required today in the market to be selected by a good company for working.

I got in the college by filling the CAP form which gives every student a chance to apply at all the college's he wishes to take admission in,after the first round of CAP I got RGCER as my college,then I went to the college confirmed my admission with documents verification and took the CAP Letter for my admission confirmation after that I started my Engineering Journey in Rajiv Gandhi College of engineering and Research.

Not all faculty members are good at teaching,I would say 7 out 10 teachers teach good and some can't quite induce the students to learn the subject but it is a matter of perspective teaching faculties can improve themselves to make the college better but at present the college has a 4 star out of 5 star in teaching and other things.
