Strictly relevant to the curriculum of the course. The curriculum of the course in the college helps you to the outer world too and also prepare you for further academic pursuits. All teachers try to keep up with the new teaching techniques as per students but some still teaches with the old school teaching which is not bad but some students don't find it understandable. Timings of exams, lectures and practical are pretty much manageable. It's not difficult for students to keep up with the timings. some of the suggestions to improve would be implementing new ways of teaching. in science department teachers try to help students with personality developmet in ways like communication, physicality, computer teachings and also by sharing their experiences calming students down before exams.

my experience was extremely great in maharashtra college with campus being my go to place to relax. College festival used to be so exciting as there was so many competitions to participate in like poster, ppt, model, quiz,photography, drama,singing, makeup,mehendi, best out of waste and what not. Sports day used to be a major event as it used ti be held at marines ground.there is aldo whiteboards and projector in each classrooms with teachers using mics as the classrooms are huge and the strength of students is also large in numbers. There is separate room called LCR (Ladies Common Room) for girls to relax with attached washroom. There is also a prayers room to offer namaaz for muslims.

i chose this college as per my convenience in various ways like travelling, locality, crowd etc. i tried for khalsa college too but as i got confirmed admission in maharashtra college i took that asap as maharshtra college was my first priority so i didnt wait for khalsa colleges result for admission. Maharashtra college is very good in academics in all streams; Arts, Science and commerce, college is adding higher academics departments, try and improve teaching strategies, taking students on educational trips to enhance field knowledge. The admission process is very simple and the authority is very helpful in the process, teachers and very delight to talk to they make sure that the students dont face any kind of trouble during the whole process. There is no admission exams to be given the admission is on merit bases, cutoffs are increasing with every passing year the srudents passing rate is increasing thats why the cutoffs are increasing.

Faculty-to-student ratio: 8:7 Faculty to Student relationship is very supportive, understanding and friendly it's not hard to approach to them. Faculty is very easily approachable no attitude they always give time to make you understand things, to solve your problems as soon as possible, to make you stand and achieve your goal, to help achieve your goal, always ready to go out of their way to make your needs meet, always make you walk the right path, stands like a pillar beside you, make you understand what's right and what's wrong, if you make mistake they always make you understand your mistake and help you rectify them. Department of Science is the best of all especially department of botany There is no faculty to not like all faculties are great in their respective departments Exams are semester wise, it ain't that difficult but the question paper setting is understandable that if you don't know the exact answer you can atleast write what you read or understand. Very relevant .
