Likes

The classes and the infrastructure is world class
The boys to girls ratio is nearly equal and the students are very diverse in nature
The staffs are well behaving and we'll experienced ones with a friendly nature

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum we have is the most relevant one for the students. There are no place to improve in terms of curriculum. The exams are relatively easy. Mostly the evaluation is relative grading and students mostlyend up getting the same grades ss their classmates

Internships Opportunities

The internship in our college is the best one and offers both insight and work from home options. Students learn many new things in their internship which is very usefull for their career.each student should do a project each semester to complete his course

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards placements starts in our university.all tech giants around the world visit our university to give placements. Some of them are Google, Amazon ,Paytm ,paypal ,Facebook ,etc.the highest package is 60 lakhs per year and the average is 32 laks per year.the placement percentage is 100%. I plan to do a pg course after my graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 5th slot and 493000/- per year as tution fees. 15000 as caution deposit 15000 as admission fees 4th slot is 450000 per year 3rd slot is 400000 per year 2nd slot is 300000 per year 1st slot is 200000 per year

Campus Life

The vit is famous for its fests like technovit and vibrance and many other events.the central library is an ocean of books consisting more than one lakh books in it.vit also shines in sports and other activities and motivates students by giving od for students who participate in sports events

Hostel Facilities

We get ac rooms with 24/7 ac facility and the rooms are cleaned twice a day and also the rooms are very spacious. The meals provided in the hostel mess is top class and homely and mostly South Indian crusine. The process of registration is pretty easy.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I also applied for amritha coimbatore and PSG College of engineering and technology. I declined those colleges as I wanted more exposure and experience and choose vit. I got rejected from PSG as my board marks was not upto the level.the admission proyis relatively simple.first we should clear viteee exam and get atleast 60 percent in pcm in boards.

Faculty

The ratio of faculty to students is 1 is to 30. The faculties are very friendly and easy to approach. All faculties are good so it's impossible to find the best We get 3 exams per semester names cat1 , cat2 and fat. Mostly all students pass the exams but some do fail.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
