- The college structure is quite huge and impressive, like when i first saw and explored whole campus, i wasnt able to believe that i have really taken admission in this college.
- College provides placement trainings and guidance sessions frequently, also college has strong TPO department.
- There are many facilities from inside labs to halls, internet and computers are numberly higher than number of students.
Dislikes
- Less Placement opportunities and packages
- Lack of hackathon programs and tech communities
- Less faculty in department, there are expert professors but quite lesser than they should be.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have been pretty fascinated by the computers working and softwares, so decided to study further in this field. Also college professors tries their best, but their knowledge and less updating in renowing tech becomes little issue. The exams frequency is set according to university so there is no take of college.
Internships Opportunities
Some of service based companies has approached for full stack web developers and core internship opportunities. Many companies just tried to sell their training programs recently but although there are internship opportunities provided by college.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students becomes eligible to apply for campus interview rounds. Many companies like wipro, tcs, ibm has visited and more than tens of students got placed till the date. The highest packages one who got was like 16.7 lakhs in computer engineering dept. The placement percentage would around 34% and above, mechanical engineering dept has the highest rate of placements. My plans are getting any agency who offers training and interview calls in cloud field and getting placed via off-campus, if college didnt get me a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
I came under sc category reservation admission category. Hence I'd pay 1200 per year as fee and rest 70k fees considered as scholarship. Also they havent clearly described fees structure but every student has fees structure as per his category. Example, open/general category individuals had to pay 70 thousand, Nt has 8 thousand fee and rest covered in scholarship. There is also scholarship for hostellers and also another scheme if they perform well in college as theirs hostel becomes free.
Campus Life
Overall experience with the college is average, not best and not worst. Good to be as there are good amenities, infrastructure, food, equipments and bad as there are no social groups or communities, there are no hackathons, clubs or sport events.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a rental flat as the college take full fees of hostel if student lives under 50km around college and i live close. as i heard mess food is not appreciatable, but the rooms are spacious. There is a gym inside hostel for girls and boys separately. I have rented room just outside of the campus.
Admission
I didnt choose this college, but i had to take admission directly cuz there was no other college nearby and my family could not afford me to study far from town. College admission process was pretty simple a nd easy, I did applied to the VP college baramati and d.y patil college pune and got admission in it. And also rejected from VP college because of less percentage. Whoever pass the cutoff percentage and fits in the eligibility criteria can get admission in this college. The eligibility is any Common entrance exams score and good percentages in board exams
Faculty
There is designated exam department who carries every exam safely and under supervision. Talking about faculty, there are faculties like engineering, pharmacy, MBA some other. I didnt like the mechanics cuz its quite complex to me to understand. Exams conducted in college are pretty difficult and hard to cheat.
