AOT is one of the best college in Kolkata.

The course curriculum of this college is very strict. It you want to study then only come to this college as the course follows the syllabus of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (M.A.K.A.U.T). The courses well prepare you for the real-world to face any kind of difficulties when you become a working job version.

From the 3rd Year onwards, everyone gets eligible for on campus internship offered by different MNCs which come to our college for on campus recruitment. They pay a very good stipend to the students. Companies such as TCS and Cognizant are mass recruiter in our college.

From 7th semester, the students become eligible for sit in the campus placements. Our college placement is very good, in last year it was 141% and this year it was 96%(ongoing). Various companies have visited our college such as tcs, cognizant, tech Mahindra, vipro etc.

The Semester wise tution fee is 52000 and at the time of admission you have to pay 105000 which includes semester fees and other fees such as admission fees, library fees, development fees etc and we have to pay training fee 12000 every odd semester.

Campus life is very good and overall experience is very soothing. One of the best thing in our college is our college hostel. There are two major fest hosted by our college that is Arcadia and TechFiesta.

The hostel is very clean and it is located within 100m from the college inside the campus. Hostel mess food is also very good compared to other hostels. The hostel supper is a very good person and seniors are also very cooperative.

I got a confirmed admission from techno main salt lake college but rather i choose this college because of the environment and here i am getting my particular choosen course. Well i got rejection from other colleges like heritage institute of technology because i couldn't reach the cutoffs required there for admission. My college accepts admission through WBJEE.

The faculty-to-student ratio is 60:4. There are well qualified faculties from IITs and NITs. They are very cooperative towards students and also help them to clear their every type of doubts regarding a particular subject or topic. Some of the professors are egoistic and rudely behaviour. There are five type of exams :- ca1, ca2, ca3, ca4 and semester exam. Ca1,2,3 are easy to clear, ca4 is moderate and semester exam are moderate to hard level so every student won't be able to clear semester exam if they don't study and they have to take supplement exams if they fail to pass semester exam.
