Remarks

I will tell everyone to go to a better college instead of this kind of college. Never waste 4 years of life in this kind of college. Education is important. So always try to get good education.verify the background properly. This college is like a school.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for OJEE and my rank was 18000. As my score was not so good i decided to join this local engineering college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is provided by BPUT under which all technical college falls in. Because of that curriculum was good.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship programme in that college. We got 10000rs/year stipend from our state government and our college even mentally harassed us in our first year by asking many documents which are not required.

Only two recruitment drive happened . Only 17 students out of approximately 600 students were placed. And even they have not joined those companies yet.

College Events

Annual function,biswakarma puja,ganesh puja and saraswati puja are the event which happens there.Annual function is celebrated in january every year.ganesh puja and saraswati puja also celebrated in a very huge manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was one of the reason why i joined this college . It is pretty much feasible.they take 60000 every year and registration fee of 1500 every semester extra.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed a study loan from punjab national bank and all the documents required for applying a study loan was given by our college.

Campus Life

Campus life was not that good. You will always fell a supressed environment there.there is no ragging inside the college, that is the must positive point. You will find almost equal gender ratio. No other competition except debate competition.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good. Including gym and playground. But they don't allow to go out of the campus that easily. The mess foods are also average.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the aluminis are very good but 70 percent of them are worthless. College seniors are mostly very helpful. Some of them are in very good company compared to the education they got.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is according to BPUT. And the schedules are very hectic. 3 internals per semester and exams in every 6 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A journey worth sharing

The admission procedure for the BTech is consist of 50% of 10+2 (CHSE or any state board) and 50 % of jee main results. Also, you can join here as a lateral entry after your diploma. If you have secured good marks you can also find a good discount on the course fee. For the SC/ ST students, no course fee is applicable.
