LIFE AT NIT AP

The course curriculum dices into the world of technology and it teaches us the basics that are the foundations of the present world technology.. the curriculum makes us understand the concepts easily and in an efficient way.. there are labs to understand these in practical way.. there are two minors and a mid and an end sem exams.. the exams appear on e a month.. there are 4 months and 4 exams..

There are pretty decent placements.. before the recession the college has placement percentage of 90% with average package of 8.54 lpa.. and now during the recession the placements in every college have fallen.. however the training and placement cell is trying it's best to provide us placements.. the highest package offered here was 46lpa for a student from cse.. average package stands somewhere around 6-8 lpa.. to sit in the placements the student has to secure a cgpa around or above 6.5.. then he/ she will be eligible for the placements.. I plan on pursuing masters after my degree

The year wise fees that has to be paid is 65,000+65,000 for two sems that is 130000 as institute fee/tution fee.. there r several scholarships for this.. like nsp(national scholarship etc..) and based on category the fee varies.. the sc,sts have to pay a fee of 3000.. the oc/obc/bs students can opt for few remission with Meb/OEB category..Meb students can get full tution fee refund while oebcgets about 30% fees refund.. there are many kind of scholarship one can avail here like nsp, scholarships provided by SBI bank

There are many clubs here based on one's personal interest like ai and robotics club, photography club, dwani club etc..oje can go to any club based on their personal interest to dice deeper into their interest and passion.. and we have libraries with various number of books which are very useful and we can find almost all of the important books in the library.. and we have digital classrooms with a digital display for the ppts and images for better understanding.. we have very good sports club and a sports complex and the staff encourage us to participate in the sports tournaments which are called inter nit competitions which are held between the nits.. here the sports are very much encouraged..there is a student community which strives to protect the rights of students and fights for the students..

We have a very good hostels here.. it's a four accomodation room for the first years, and two accommodation room for the 2nd and 3rd years..and single share rooms for the 4th years.. they provide a study chair and a table and shelves for each student in the hostel rooms.. there is a 24/7 wifi provided in the hostel which is pretty good.. and the mess quality is average.. and they provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner.. thee registration process for the hostel is.. once you come to the campus of the physical registration.. they guide you to the process of hostel registration.. the institute itself takes care about the hostel accommodation if needed..

I've applied to a few private colleges..and a few other NITs.. while I found this NIT ap better than a few private colleges that I opted for.. there are some NITs or IITs i couldn't get into as I couldn't score enough in the JEE mains.. as this is a NIT college and NIT AP is one of the fastest growing NIT in India.. and the placements here are pretty decent which made me choose this college.. the admission process for this college is through the josaa and through the csab.. one has to attempt the jee mains and crack the jee mains and get some decent percentile and can go through josaa counsiling and secure the admission

For now.. the faculty to students ratio is low as there are only 45 facilities now and they are in the process of recuting 125 positions which are said to be filled very soon and then we'll have a total of 160 facilities which is a very decent number..all the faculties are very friendly and teach effectively.. the exams are easier if you listen to class and understand them.. a few numbers of students fail to clear the exams.. so overall the exams are easy if we follow the curriculum which are very relevant..
