Trip To NITJ

The timing of girls is 10 p.m. And the main gate timing for girls is 7 P. M.Dispensary is not open 24hours. In Hostels, all water cooler are not working. New building is there for canteens. Now everyone can sit there and eat properly.

Exam structure is very common as in engineering colleges. There are total of 8 semesters in 4 years and each semester contains 5 to 6 subjects in which you have to pass. In one semester there will be three exams for each subject (20+20+50 =90) and 10 marks will be given by subject teacher as per your attendance and assignments. There is a need of 40 marks to pass one subject.

There are many aspects to determining the job opportunities. Well most of the branches get 100 % placements as lots of big companies visit the campus itself. Rest branches get 60-80% job placement. College doesn't provide internships but there are a lot more companies who visit campus for paid and unpaid internships as per thier requirements.

There are lots of events celebrated throughout the year. The main attraction is the cultural fest named as Utkansh and technical fest named as techniti. Kite festival, Hindi pakhwada foundation day festival, Punjab got talent and other national and regional festivals are also celebrated with full interest.

Fee structure is decided by MHRD INDIA so college has a moderate fee. But it is feasible for a normal family. There is scholarship as per the govt. For Sc St and obc candidates. So some of the students get full scholarship too.

All the scholarships which are available can be applied. As it is a central funded college so there is a fee discount for the students of OBC SC ST category. Apart from it there are lot more govt schemes which can be enjoyed by the students

There is Separate grounds for VOLLEYBALL BASKETBALL LAWN TENNIS BADMINTON CRICKET AND FOOTBALL. Throughout the year students can participate in lots of events related to sports and arts, theater, literature etc.

I will rate as 8.5/10. It was quite good. Mess food is nice each hostel has its own mess and separate management and staff for it. Hostels are well equipped with all the nesessary things like fan chair tables bed night lamps etc.

Alumni network of the institute is well framed. One separate club named as Sarc work for the better communication with the seniors and alumini. All alumni comes to college time to time and help students.

All faculties are experienced and well qualified. Hence they have a good command over subject. There are 3-5 professors in one department and 3-6 assistant professor. Apart from them the lab assistance is pretty good.
