Leading Engineering college in Nagpur

The college is however very strict in it's conduct and many times termed as a "jail" by students. However it imparts a lot of discipline in the students. A huge focus is there on the conduct of students and even on uniform amd shoes too... However it helps in future professional life.

The course curriculum is as set by UGC & AICTE and is in accordance with RTMNU. It is quite a comprehensive course and enough practical knowledge is provided in it. Although it not regularly updated but it still meets the industry demand.

Placement is the best in Nagpur region if we exclude VNIT nagpur. This year 86% of eligible students got placed and a wide variety of industries came for placement. Companies ranging from Amazon India to Mahindra came for campus placements. This is the only college is nagpur that has a 100% internship succeess. Every student is made available ( or rather compelled) to do internship in an reputed industry. It also directly helps in placement. I did my internship from Tata Aeronautics limited TAL manufacturing solutions MIHAN Nagpur And stand a placement in the same company.

The college rather has a very wide range of events. 3 national level events are organised. Insight- cultural event, Technex - National level technical event , Start up mela- national level innovation event are organised. every department has its own departmental event scheduled. Also debates, discussion, art and literature events are organised. Recently MTV Roadies came on a campus tour and had a lot of crowd.

Fee structure is as per AICTE guidelines and decided by central government. The reserved category students get freeships and scholarship. And college management provides some scholarship too . The fees is very much feasible.

Almost every bank provides education loans for admission to this college, many pf my friends availed it. If you are from Reserved category you are given freeships in college fees. For OBC 50% waiver by state government . For SC St 100% waiver by state government. Merit scholarship is also provided.

Labs are at par with standards prescribed by AICTE. Labs have modern equipment is fine working conditions. Sophasticated equipments are given to perform experiments and tests. College boasts a verg large ground and has state level teams in wide array of sports. Students have also represented at national level competitions. 9/10

I'm a day scholar. But the hostels are very fine and full of amenities. Students sometimes have a grudge towards mess. But college has a very good canteen. Free fast wifi is available all around campus. the hostels are equipped with air conditioning.

A very strong alumni network is present. Rhe college organises regular interaction sessions with the alumni and arrange visits to their companies as well. Alumni association helps us in getting internships and job opportunities. City level and national leven alumni association are created and a very strong alumni network is present abroad also which help a lot of students who wish to move abroad for studies or job.

By far this college has best faculties among any college in Nagpur region. They are very supportive and knowledgeable and almost everyone holds a PhD. They try to impart a lot of practical knowledge and develop a all round personality.
