Review of VIT Bhopal's academic and extracurricular landscape.

The curriculum is very interesting, it consists all sorts of practical experiences that a student should have. The development of both hard and soft skills is necessary such as critical thinking and communication. They also provide access to research opportunities and strong alumini networks to facilitate academic advancement. The areas where the college should improve is to update the content to focus more on the new tricks and techniques about a particular situation. Each semester has two examinations:- mid terms and term end. Both have an average difficulty level, neither too easy, nor too hard. It depends person to person on the preparation towards a particular subject

Apple IN offered a stipend of 90,000 INR each month for the role of software development engineering intern starting from January 25 to June 25. The project would be to develop software to help the company with its day-to-day tasks

From the 6th semester, we became eligible for campus placements. The names of companies visited are Apple In, PhonePe, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Schneider Electric, Optiv, Optum, and Flipkart. Apple In provided an internship stipend of 90,000 INR for the job role of software development engineering intern. Till now, a number of 150-200 students have been placed till now since July. My plans are to get a degree and start my own startup.

When I was about to begin with my first year, I had to pay the first year fee of 201000 INR (3000rs extra than the actual fee per year). The actual fee is 198000 INR. But I got to know that they were including the caution deposit which is a one time payment The year wise fee is 198000 INR for category-1 students. There are 5 categories in total in VIT. There is no other fee than these two for the Bhopal campus. My batchmates are all in the category-1 so we all pay the same amount.

Our college hosts several technical fests such as techfest which is generally held in the month of October. The library offers a wide range of books and also, it offers access to digital databases and research materials, making it highly accessible for students on a daily basis. Classrooms are equipped with modern provisions, such as projectors and high-speed internet facilitating. Extracurricular activities include dance, drama, music etc. Numerous student-run groups such as the Android club group, help students in enhancing their coding skills.

A high-speed wifi is provided in each hostel room. There are routers installed in every alternate room in order to maintain good wifi connectivity in hostel. meal quality is quite decent, every day we find something exciting on our plates. Maybe the taste would depend person to person, but overall the food quality is good. The registration process is done CGPA wise, the person with good CGPA will get a room of their choice over a person with not such good CGPA. The hostels are quite affordable, prices depend on the number of beds in a room ad also, whether the room is an AC type or non AC type. AC type rooms will always cost 6000-7000 more than a non AC room. I never rented a PG.

I applied to VIT Chennai, VIT Vellore, VIT Bhopal, and Jaypee Noida. I received a confirmation letter from VIT Bhopal and Jaypee Noida. I did not exactly get a rejection from this college but I did not choose VIT Chennai as I was getting admission in the third category in the ECE branch. I did not exactly want ECE if I was getting CSE in VIT Bhopal. The admission process of my college was simple. It just required a 90-minute exam, VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination), and based on the rank, we get the deserving branch and college, For example: on a rank of 30k, I got VIT Bhopal with CSE branch. To get the CSE branch in VIT Vellore, we need to get a rank under 7500. Overall, the admission process was quite convenient.

The faculties are really approachable in this college, they solve each and every problem of a student as if it is their own. I completed a research paper with my faculty Mr. Ram and with all his support it became a success. The faculties I like are Mr. Ram, Mr. Abhishek Shrivastava, Ms Chandrama Swain as they all are very welcoming and warm-hearted, and guided me through these years in college. There were some faculties I didn't like because they told us to mug up the subject every now and then. I like more practicals than theory. In a semester, there are two exams:- mid term examinations and term-end examinations
