My college -Extraordinary college

College is well known and reputed college. Many times students make complaints about facilities but if we see properly facilities are available but student's approach is unfortunately disgusting. The only thing I don't like is Short minded mentality of people in this TOWN. Students who came here for studies from outside city also have short minded mentality as they are surrounded by people having short minded mentality. People can't see other's success.

My honest opinion is Course curriculum is well designed but somewhere education system is lagging behind. There are internal marks criteria which is not good. It should be changed if we need skilled students. Many students get low marks because of their attendance is low but they still clear exam as they are self skilled

Placement numbers and internship numbers are quite good. But most of students literally get's tired when they look for internships. Proper internships are not there. Only there are internships which are just fulfilling formalities for students. This scenario should change. Placement criteria varies from company to company. Many high reputation companies don't come.

Many events like Engineers day, Cultural festival, Alumni meet, Entrepreneurship Summit, Science day, Traditional day,Dahi-Handi, Technical symposium called Pursuit, etc are celebrated every year. Students have branch wise Committees which organises other events too. Many skill development related workshops are there too. Also there are some extra classes like Gate preparation, Soft skills development, aptitude clasees etc.

Fee structure is expensive actually. It's 300 Rs (Three Hundred) for SC/ST category and 52,000 Rs (Fifty two Thousand) for OPEN category. It's clearly unfair criteria. One student pays 300 Rs and other pays Fifty two Thousand rupees for one year. We should think over this.

I haven't availed but I know there's a facility of loan by Trust itself. I haven't applied for it so I don't have it's knowledge. But whatever I've heard about it I came to know that it's a good and fair thing

Extra Curricular activities are well designed and developed. Thing is college have made attendance mandatory so most students unfortunately can't avail extra curricular activities. Sports facilities are good. Many students get colour coat in university matches. Many times sports department made a difference for students.

I stay in Hostel. Facilities are very good. Infrastructure is comfortable for students to live. It's moderate in terms of money. But same thing here also people get scholarship if they have SC or ST category and OPEN category students don't get that.

For Alumni network improvement college organises Alumni meet program. Few students actually gets interacted with alumnies. Alumnies should help students to get internship but few alumnies do their work as they speak.

Faculty of my college are extremely helpful. Most of faculties are skilled. Most faculties are available for students help 24by7. It's good to have skilled faculties. But every coin has another side likewise their are some exceptions who shouldn't be in this education field.
