Best Marine Engineering College in India

Poor infrastructureas it's very old, buildings are made of 1950s, poor maintainance as it's semi government workers' doesn't perfrom their work properly, no canteen facilities , large grass used to grow in june/July so no sports in that months

Course curriculum for 1st yr is same as normal engineering colleges but from second year marine related subjects will be taught like NAVAL ARCHITECTURE, MOTOR, MARINE ENGINEERING PRACTICE etc. Semester exams held twice a year

College has around 90% placement of all eligible candidates, company from all over world like Fleet management Ltd, Shipping corporation of India, Mediterranean shipping company used to come for placements. They provide internship to students by paying 30-40k per month as stipend. Am placed in shipping corporation of India got stipend of 25k per month

College organises India's largest College fest called Tempest every year, it oragnised by 3rd students by gathering sump of money from sponsership from various shipping companies and also from Coco cola , pizza hut etc. College fest also include sports activities like basketball, football , cricket where various colleges used to take part

College fee is feasible. One will cost 2 lac 25 thousands per year , which includes flooding, losing, clothing, books etc. It's the lowest price in India a marine colleges takes. One can't get any marine college in this so opt for it without hesitation

College also provide scholarship to top 10 candidates every semester of 75k. One can also take loan from SBI as college has it's own SBI BRANCH in campus which easily passes loan to everyone.i too have taken loan of 9 lac from SBI.

College has various extra curricular activities like every type of sports are played here from Chess to cricket,football. College has it's own Marine workshop which has ship's Main engine, Generator , boiler which are in running mode. College also has Computer lab, Mechanical lab, electrical lab

One have to live in hostel only as it's a para-military college, Hostel infrastructure is old as it's very old college , maintenance is also poor as it's semi Government institute but food is best I can say . Hosel has WiFi facility

Seniors are really helpful they guide us about semester exam, they give us notes , materials, back year question papers for semester exams . They also help unplaced candidate in getting placed . They also gives us their sailing experience

College faculties are must experienced, They have selling experience of more than 15 year's so they used to share their experience very well . They used to teach by showing pictures/ drawing on boards/ Video which are really very helpful
