My college experience.

Thakur college is best as far as i know because of it's great teachers,infrastructure,events,activities and internships,placements. But thr only con is that the fees is slightly on the higher side but is justified being thakur college giving it's students thr best facilities.

My course is very well structured as there is a scope for students to learn what is practically going in thr market. We are made to learn IT,advanced excel,ecommerce,digital marketing everything which a student in this field requires to have a knowledge about.Also the exam structure is based on the ratio of 60:40 where 20 marks is for internals,20 for projects and 60 for semester examinations. This 2 year course have 4 semester's.

Yes. There are a lot many opportunities for placement of students with companies like deloitte,tcs,icici bank etc come and interview students and students with good academic and pratical knowledge gets placed with a good amount of stipend. There are internships also which college provides to help students get hands on experience to the job world.

There are many events in our college such as tarkash,taarangan which is a inter college competition also different courses have their own fests such as baf,bcom all arrange very creative and best of the inter college festivals and events. Also the biggest film making festival is by bmm course known as cortokino.

Thakur as per fees is quite high as compared to other colleges but provides the best infrastructure amongst all the colleges. Although fees is slightly on thr higher side amenities like canteen,ac classes,labs are very well maintained.

Scholarships are given to students who score good marks in their academic perfommance like 1st 2nd and 3rd rankers in every course get a decent amount of scholarships as well as those who ranks the best in a particular subject.

Extracurricular activities are the most interesting when it comes to thakur college as there are a lot of sports option you can go with such as badminton,boxing,cricket etc there are very well maintained science and computer labs and the various actuvitied like competitions,debates and quizes take place which gives students a lot of exposure.

Yes there are hostel facilities provided by thakur which helps a lot of students coming from different cities to stay comfortably.hostel food and infrastructure is also very good and students remain quite satisfied about the same.

Alumni network is very strong as a lot of students help us in our particular coursr by providing us valuable notes and information which helps us to score good marks. Also,books donated by ex students in library or their question papers make our studies more easier.

Faculty in my college is very good as they have abundant knowledge which really provides us answers to our most difficult queries with teachers who are highly qualified and very well experienced in their field.
