Remarks

Overall to rate my campus I'll give 7/10 with placement facilities. If you want to apply for my college with keeping in mind for future studies then blindly apply you will not get any pressure for studies. If are geek or book worm kindly stay away from this College this is not meant for your brains. I was more practical guy but after coming to this College was getting lazy to perform practicals in lab because of faculty knowledge and friend circle.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The Mumbai University course structure is too theoretical. There should be more practical periods than theory. It's like too easy for me to clear all the semesters as I'm from Diploma and studied all subjects which are now in Degree

Placement Experience

3.5

Like typical placement with 3-4 lac package companies pick 5-10 candidates from overall campus. The condition is worst due to the course curriculum and the lack of skills from candidates. Only one TPO work for college with 0 assistant with him every.

College Events

4

We have 2 major events conducted in our campus. 1 in odd SEM and 1 in even SEM. Most of the cultural events are conducted according to Marathi calendar. In every semester there is to be all small small events conducted by every department individually within department level

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is nominal comparative with others. If you are financially aid then apply for TFWS it is more beneficial to you. Otherwise our college has most of the seat reserved for SC/ST and all castes. For open category you apply for EBC it will be reimbursed 50% of your tuition fees

Fees and Financial Aid

The best facility I got is TFWS (Tuition fee waiver scheme) this is only applicable for INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BRANCH STUDENTS AND ONLY 3 SEATS ARE AVAILABLE. Try to score good marks above to cutoff. Otherwise you can apply for EBC if you are in OPEN CATEGORY

Campus Life

4

Faculty is more happy if you are participating in extracurricular activities. We have 3 days for sports day in the month of January or in first week of February. It is fun and exciting to participate in every activity. All the faculty enjoy with students and make the fun bigger.

Alumni/Alumna

I have good contact with my alumni and seniors in the campus network. Just give a smile and say hello then automatically the conversation begin. Don't shy to ask your doubts everyone is helpful and happy to connect with you for other activities.

Faculty

2.5

From my perspective if you just want to complete your graduation smoothly then blindly get this College faculty members are too casual to teach. Most of the faculty are ladies then have theoretical knowledge rather than any experience in subject.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
