Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for bcom hons. And I also opted for CA hence it will be helpful for me and also in VAc I chose financial literacy which gives you a real life touch and helps you become financially literate. I find my course very interesting and it connects me to real life.
Internships Opportunities
Many small companies come in college with internship opportunities on daily basis. Roles offered are basically business development analyst or accountant or hr assistant stipend ranges around 5-10k per month.
Placement Experience
Form semester 1 students are eligible for internships and placements. Our college placement rate is not so high but avg salary revolves around 9 lakhs and highest was around 35 lpa. Top companies like big 4 ey dellotie KPMG and PWC come here to hire people.
Fees and Financial Aid
So I paid 14605 ruppes during my admission in course bcom hons. It was the yearly fees that I was asked to pay for this course in the ews category and I've heard that the fees will decrease in the upcoming years of my education. 14605 includes all types of fees be it tution fees.. admission fees etc. only you've to pay exam fees which is around 1500 when you'll be filling exam forms.
Campus Life
My overall campus life is going amazing..the societies are in large numbers and also active..sports are held in the college and also have coaches to train. The society heads are very supportive and friendly. Yess the infrastructure is not really very good but is manageable.
Admission
I only applied for du collages coz du colleges we're my dream..I applied for srcc hindu and hansraj college too but couldn't make it due to higher cuttoffs..then I chose dyal singh as it had a big campus active societies and a good crowd. I rejected colleges like DCAC AND CVS because of metro proximity crowd and facilities like big campus and auditorium amphitheatre etc.
Faculty
1 faculty for 60-70 students. very friendly faculty and helpful when needed. Seesh pal sir is a man of real world..I like him for that. There are 3 core exams and one GE one SaC Vac and Aec. failing rate is generally low
